"Going here is like going to a Casino: Sometimes you win but usually you lose. I went to get a cavity filled and the dentist who told me he would be there was a no-show. So a college- age looking kid walked up and told me, " You're my new patient." The instructor (a real dentist) came in and gave him quick instructions. But, by the look on his face, I could tell he was nervous. Initially, he managed to numb my gum up. However, that is where things started to go downhill. He started to drill and drill and drill. After 15 minutes, the instructor wandered back in and asked how it was going. He looked in my mouth and told him to "drill deeper." So he started drilling again. This stop-and-go drilling went on for 50 minutes. I didn't feel anything until the novocaine wore off on the ride home.Then, boy o boy! Oouuuuuuch! My tooth is now 10 times more sensitive. I have to get the tooth pulled because he botched the cavity. So instead of saving money, I have to spend $1,700. Thanks, Tufts ."

"I had an appointment with Dr. Kwon who is a very kind and gentle soul. I had pretty extensive work done in one sitting where I barely felt any pain which is quite remarkable.. I highly recommend Dr. Kwon and Tufts University School of Dental. Thank you again Dr. Kwon Ibrahim Moawad"

"This is a multilevel building with a variety of dental specialties in which patients may be referred to have dental work performed. It starts with a first meeting to find out what the referral is for, then a second appointment to make an assessment for a plan of treatment. The costs for any dental work will be less than to go see a dental specialist elsewhere because it is a teaching environment. However, they are very thorough and have well respected and highly knowledgeable staff to guide new young doctors."

"Would give it zero stars if I could. They make it seem as if this is a cheaper alternative to a regular dentist, except it's more expensive and you're dealing with actual children. The girl who was working with me was unable to fill a cavity that was pre drrilled and then took 7 tries to attempt to file it down. You would assume that at a certain point faculty would help out, but the faculty is nowhere to be found anywhere...but honestly if they were any good they'd probably be practicing instead of loafing around here. Regardless, if you value your time and money( since they require 3 appointments of 3 hours each before they'll even do work....and each of those appointments is a $100+) go literally anywhere else"

"Absolutely horrible experience. Made an appointment for a root canal (after being referred by our dentist) for my 10 year old daughter. We arrived and were seen by a dental student who examined my daughter sent us to endodontics. A very condescending and rude receptionist informed us that there was no endodontic clinic and we could come back in a month for a “consultation.” Why would I waste my time? I’d rather pay out-of-pocket than ever return there."
