"The steepest street in the United States right near Pittsburgh. I came along this street while searching for places around the area to explore and I was not disappointed. I parked at the bottom across from some houses and the people didn't seem to mind. I'm sure their used to seeing people stop to check this street out. I then walked up the stairs to the top. There is a sign at the top as well as the bottom of the street explaining more about it. Driving up the street was a cool experience. I recommend stopping here it is a neat thing to check out."
"nice view. walked up the 55 stairs. i respect my clutch to much to try going up it. found it interesting there was a basketball hoop at the top hope they're good at their game."
"Free, fun and fast thing to visit in Pittsburgh. The climb was about 3-5 minutes. There are stairs with a railing that you can use, or you can walk up the brick road. The street is a dead-end street with a few homes at the top."
"Steep cobble stone street. Drive your own car, but only uphill. It is a one way street! Also check out Rialto street (Troy Hill) for one that is longer and almost as ateep."
"Drive up Canton if you dare. Park at the top of the hill in front of the abandoned house at the corner of Hampshire and Canton, then walk down Canton. I recommend using the stairs. Once at the bottom, walk straight up Canton, it's a leg burner. There is a sign at the top and bottom, the top side is better. There is a "do not enter" sign at the top, meaning you arent allowed to drive down it, but I watched a car drive down while there. This is worth a visit. I would have rated 5 stars but the street is a bit of a dump."
