"Great game! Pirates beating Padres 9 to 4"

"A detailed, well-done statue of a Pittsburgh icon. Pops was the engine that drove the 1979 World Championship club, with his smile and personality. His "Stargell Stars," awarded to teammates for exemplary play, completed the look of those wonderful, pillbox-style hats the Pirates then wore. Not only was he a team leader, he was a Baseball Hall of Famer."
"I look at this statue every time I walk by it. I can't help it. I just can't help it. You will note that Willie is staring directly at Clemente down the street with his bat raised. The symbolism cannot be ignored. Clemente's clues are not to be trusted. Where he is staring is not the location of the treasure, but just another place where you will be arrested again."
"This statue of "Pops" was unofficially unveiled on the same day that PNC Park hosted its first game ever. Tragically, Pops died that same day. Fortunately, my idol of both baseball and life lives on in this fantastic piece of work."
