"Chef Adam Luis did it again at Cliff House West, Wheeling! What a delectable meal he designed, prepared and presented to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We began with a champagne toast while on the stunning panoramic-view deck of downtown Wheeling, the Ohio River, and across into Ohio. Our generous portions of tapas consisted of delicious blackened shrimp, cheeses, olives, guanciale, prosciutto stuffed cherry peppers, stuffed grape leaves, and a crusty seeded bread. All uniquely delicious! The mixed green salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing was enhanced by the locally sourced marinated tomato slices. Chef described each of the dishes and made professional presentations with every course. Entree Chateaubriand was served with cippolini onions, roasted Portobello mushrooms, asparagus risotto and Brussel sprouts. Delightful! But we aren’t done, as we were then offered an assortment of small chef-made chocolate tarts filled with dolce de leche, chocolate mousse, raspberry or nut toppings. Chef Adam Luis is a gifted chef with a friendly and helpful personality. He made our intimate and private family celebration truly a special event!"
