Perkins Restaurant & Bakery

"We were seated right away on a Monday morning. Customers picked up quite a bit while were were there. Our food came out quick and it was good. The granny omelet with hash browns and pancakes is my long time go to at Perkins. Our waitress (Allison maybe? Tall, black hair) was working her butt off and was checking on us for refills and anything else we might need. We were greeted and thanked by her and the hostess/cashier."

"The waitresses and manager were very nice. We stopped in last night (12-2-23) we were on a bus. The staff knew well in advance that we were coming in. The restaurant wasn’t very busy when we came in around 6:45PM. We were all seated in our own room, around 38 of us. Everyone received their drinks in record tine, orders were taken salads came out. Food started to come out. We ordered cheese sticks that had to go back because they were frozen in the middle, the second time they were still hard as a rock but not as cold. Short story other passengers ate, paid and were on the bus. Fish dinners were sent back. 65 minutes later our food was put in bags. Only one dinner was even close to being good, 3 dinners were tossed in the garbage. 2 fish, 1 pot roast. Country fried chicken was eaten."

"The service from everyone creates a wonderful & comfortable atmosphere. The server took amazing care of our table && the food came out quickly and was perfect. The overall experience here at Perkins in Wheeling was stunning and we can’t wait until we visit again!"

"Went for dinner with a party of 6, our waiter was friendly but once our food was served he never came back to offer refills or check if our food was OK. Came back with the check when we were all finished. Dinners were Belgium waffle, everything omelet, chicken strips, salad and salmon. The grilled asparagus was inedible, way over cooked, charred and floppy. Had our server come back I would have asked for another order but since he didn't, he did offer a dessert to go which was an acceptable solution. All the rest of the food was good."
