"Before making the trip to the North Carolina capitol, call first. They were closed for renovations. The good side, plenty of places to park. It is metered parking. The bad side, you can't go inside to look around. Even though it was closed, there were other people walking around looking at the outside."
"Was extremely disappointed to get to the capital building only to find out it was closed. Kinda puts a dent in my quest to visit all the capital buildings. I did get to explore the grounds and the statues. The building is small in comparison to others. Was really hoping to see the Senate and House chambers and the rotunda. Guess I'll have to make a return trip one day."
"This is truly a wonderful museum. I learned so much on my visit. The exhibits are very well presented, and they invite you to continue exploring and learning. North Carolina has a very interesting history, and it comes to life in this beautiful museum. Highly recommended."
