"We won the lottery for a plot here and it’s absolutely a place of friendship and love. Everyone is so nice here and I love seeing the gardeners come and harvest their bounty or tend to their plots. It’s been an amazing community for us to join. This has nothing to do with the garden or the people who run it…I do wish that city would install a public water line for the people who live in the woods behind the garden so they don’t have to keep breaking in to gain access to the water. That would be the humane thing to do. We all should have the right to clean water."
