"This place is lots of fun for families, they have lots of different things to do. A big water slide, lazy river, splash pad, diving board, rock climbing wall. The only thing that baffles me about it is that every 45 minutes they make everyone get out of the pool so the lifeguards can take a 15 minute break. There are definitely plenty of lifeguards working that they can be working in 15 minute shifts so that everyone gets their breaks, but instead they make everyone get out of the pool while they all take a break at the same time. Makes no sense to me."
"It’s Alaska so your choices are limited and of the choices this is definitely the best. It doesn’t feel dirty like other pools in town. Wish open swim hours weren’t so limited but otherwise best alaska has!"
"Brought my 6 year old daughter. Paid 3 dollars and had a day of fun. Only with they were open for open swim on the weekends longer than just Saturday. Definitely recommend for anyone with kids looking for a few hours of fun."
"My kids had fun. I get that there are rules. However, if your lifeguards are going to enforce them, then enforce them on everyone. Telling one child they have to take a swim test, while he sees a bunch of younger kids, out of parents reach is ridiculous. Especially, when the child made to take the test is older."
"Clean, fun and well staffed. It's only $3 per swimmer during Family Open Swim (Fri 4-8pm; Sat & Sun 11am– 6pm). There are pool chairs and benches to sit on if you're not swimming and during the hourly 5min pool breaks. The front desk has Little Swimmers, call for sizes available. No personal tubes allowed, they have free tubes to use as well as 2 baby tubes for those who can sit. There is a lazy river, kiddie wave pool with lots of water falls, curvy slide (must be 48" tall to use), 12ft pool with diving board and small regular pool area."
