"This review is specifically for Chase, one of the company’s employees. I discovered a substantial leak under my sink and submitted a maintenance request to get it fixed. Within two hours I heard from Chase to discuss the nature of the leak and when would be best for me to have him come repair it. Additionally, he both called and texted me to ensure I had been contacted- which I greatly appreciated. The issue was resolved within the same day I submitted the request. Very happy sleigh his help!"

"Maintenance worker Chase was wonderful. My unit did not have blinds installed when I moved in and he called me within hours of my work order being put in and scheduled a time the next week that worked for me. He was very prompt, arrived a couple minutes early, and installed my blinds for me all in under an hour. He was very kind and professional!"

"I lived at an apartment in Missoula for 6+ years, and during that time the property management was transferred three times, in 2022 the building was bought and Home River Group took over the management. They were by far the worse management I have dealt with. I worked from home during the pandemic, and they got annoyed that I was home during their tours while taking over. My oven broke down in August, and it took them two months to get back to me and get it repaired. It wasn’t until I got frustrated and submitted several tickets in a row (on top of the ones already submitted) before I even got a response. The lawn care upkeep and snow removal declined significantly after they took over. If you try to call them, you are most likely to get outsourced and be transferred around. When my new land company requested a rental reference (before I got the apartment), Home River replied with “Please be advised that we can't complete this request as we do not have a Notice to Vacate on file.” They required I put in a notice to vacate before they would supply a reference, which I needed to even apply for places, which I wasn’t sure I would get. I have connections with someone who owns a land company (not in Missoula) with whom I talked to about it and she said she’s pretty sure that’s illegal, or at the very least highly unethical. And regarding the security deposit, they took the majority (unsurprisingly). I called and requested invoices and a call back, have yet to receive anything or hear back. They also charged me prorated rent for 1/1/24, even though I was out the 31st as stated in my move out, but because they took the holiday off and couldn’t do the inspection until 1/2/24, they charged me for that holiday. Very unprofessional overall, would not recommend if anyone is looking."
