"DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!! THEY WILL WRONGFULLY CHARGE YOU AFTER CHECKOUT!! My partner and I stayed here for one night. Neither of us are cigarette smokers, we both suffer from asthma. Nor did we associate with anyone who smoked cigarettes during the night we stayed here. Hours after checkout, we were charged $200. I called to ask what the charge was for and was told “cigarette remnants were found” in the room. This is a lie and now it is just our word against theirs. I suspect the housekeepers were angry that we asked for a late checkout. As they knocked on our door asking when we were leaving (even though we arranged a late checkout with the front desk and had the do not disturb sign on). Please save yourself valuable money and time and DO NOT STAY HERE! We chose to stay here because it was affordable and seemed nice. Now we cannot pay an upcoming bill due to an unexpected $200 wrongful charge."
"My family came here to explore Missoula and my wife found this hotel. The check in was smooth and the staff that worked there over the two nights that we stayed here were friendly and helpful. The bed was quite comfortable and they even gave us a crib for our little guy to sleep in! I even spent an hour and a half talking with one of the staff members early in the morning when my lil guy decided that he did not want to sleep anymore and I brought him out to the lobby to run around so he would not wake up the others in our room. The break fast was skimpy as far as selections but at least we were able to grab something before we headed out on our adventure. We will be coming back here again when we continue our exploration of this quaint city!"
"Stopped in Missoula on my way from Missouri to Washington and had a great experience at this Econo Lodge! The room was clean, but the floors in it were pretty dirty. (Wear flip-flops or dark socks around the room lol). Under the edge of the bed must not have been vacuumed/swept very often because there were even pieces of what I presume was pet kibble under there and I had no pets with me. They were out of conditioner bottles so that was a bummer- I have long, thick hair and have to have conditioner but left mine at home on this trip accidentally. Lesson learned, next time I'll make sure I pack my own :) The staff that I interacted with (the afternoon front desk clerk and the morning one) were both friendly and polite. No issues there. The air conditioner/heater was essentially useless. The window was screwed shut, so I couldn't even open it up for some fresh cool air. The rooms have "climate control" but they didn't work well (it was set as low as it goes at 50° F) and I was sweating through the night. There was a random bug that crawled out of the sink drain lol- just a little springtail. They're harmless, but I did write a note to housekeeping. I also let them know that one light bulb was flickering/going out and another one was already out. The remote was missing the back panel that holds in the batteries, but there were still batteries in it. Found that amusing! Someone must have lost it accidentally. The mini fridge worked great to keep my water bottle cool and the microwave worked properly to heat up a snack I had with me. They were clean and tidy. I didn't try the coffee pot, but I did see it there with all the components accounted for from what I could tell. It looked clean. I also didn't touch the iron/ironing board, but I did see them in their designated spots. The available TV stations weren't anything to write home about- aka, not a huge variety. No big deal, I just wanted some soft background noise so the room wasn't so quiet for a bit before bed. I could hear very little talking in the hallway at one point, but not that much. Must have been a very quiet night! I slept like a rock on the queen bed I got in my room! It was comfy, there were no bed bugs (I always check), and there was a clean mattress pad under the sheets. There were three pillows; two with zipper covers underneath the pillowcases and one with just a pillowcase. The included continental breakfast was about on par with other hotels, if not a little better. Cereal, milk, yogurts, bread products (like bagels, wheat bread, plain glazed donuts, etc), refrigerated hard-boiled eggs, and even a waffle maker. There were packs of oatmeal for use, condiments, etc. Coffee and tea (as well as honey) were available and set out for patrons. All in all, it was a pleasant stay for the night... the main complaint I had was the ac not working well because I was on the third floor and heat rises- so all of the heaters on the floors below probably made my room hotter than it needed to be."
"Room was smallest motel/hotel I have ever been in. Ok for one but not ok for two people. Bedding was thin which made it cold. No Kleenex. Bathroom light was so dim couldn't see in the bathroom. Dated furniture. It's actually worse than motel 6 except it had carpet. Bedding the same, cheap and thin. Thermostat didn't work. Room got hot had to open a window. We were going to spend two nights but move to comfort suites. MUCH better"
"The gal who checked us in was friendly (and a great knitter). The room was clean and the bed was soft and comfy. Our only complaint was about the so-called continental breakfast. All it had was waffles and hot chocolate, didn’t even have coffee."
