"One on my worst experiences with staying in a hotel. First of all I had not planned to stay there my husband ended in the hospital there and my kids and I needed a place to stay the night. Things were fine until the morning when we woke and my daughter had several bites on her. I spoke with the manager on staff, and she stated that it could be a An allergic reaction from their detergent. I clearly stated they were bite marks, and not a rash. They were reluctant to do anything except give a 25% discount. They did check the room and claimed that they said seen nothing. They also had an exterminator come out and claim that he seen nothing and wrote a report I don’t give a damn with a report says I know I had no bites on me nor my daughter before sleeping in this room. I will continue to write reports to notify people who read the reviews which I should have done in the first place because there was another review about three weeks ago with the similar complaint. I will continue to make these complaints until something is done. And nobody else has to deal with bedbugs in a motel room. I guess I shouldn’t have chosen 2 star hotel next time I will Choose four stars. I now understand why you do not stay in a 2 Star hotel . they have horrible customer relations. I would recommend you finding another hotel."
"So I was fairly happy with my hotel stay here except they make you pay a deposit, which I totally understand BUT they make you pay $200 in cash for the deposit. Some people just don’t have that kind of money in addition to the fee for the room. The hotel didn’t even have an atm as a convenience to pay this. What really gets me though is only locals have to pay this deposit. How is that fair?? They say its because they’ve “had more problems” with the local population. Ouch! If you have a policy you can’t pick and choose for whom you enforce it for. Then when I went to retrieve my deposit early in the morning about 4am, the front desk woman talked to me very rudely as if she was annoyed I was checking out so early and questioned me about it (sorry none of her business). It makes no sense that this would bother her. She said she would be right back because she had to check the room to refund my deposit which was fine, but then she came back and said the room smells like smoke. I don’t smoke (anything). Which I told her. I also have a very sensitive nose and I never smelled smoke in the room I stayed in and I left it extremely clean with a tip. She said she’d already been upstairs three times that morning and never smelled it until she went into my room. She looked at me with extreme suspicion, and talked to me like I was a child. Thankfully she gave me my $200 deposit back, otherwise I would have been very upset. This person who checked me out was not friendly in anyway and should not be working in customer service. I should know I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for about 25 years. The only reason I left 1 star for service instead of 0 is because the gal who checked me in the night before was nice."
"Friendly staff at check in with a really nice room. Hot tub is a bonus after skiing at Lost Trail during the day and lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Breakfast was great and overall it was a great stay. Will be back."
"After looking at these reviews nice to say IM NOT THE PROBLEM. They are so unprofessional. They don't even like to talk like normal adults and hash things. I was asked to leave because REASONS BEYOND MY CONTROL. Like my kids getting bitten by bugs I'm not sure what kind I never had this problem. They didn't even say sorry nor try to address this issue or nothing they just threw us clean bedding so I was like OK. Over the coarse of my 11 day stay myself or my partner had to go get the keys made 100x a day. Which is once again beyond my control. Not to mention housekeeping trying to force themselves into my room every day even when the DND sign is up. The one worker said we had noise complaints at noon (haha) but quiet time isn't until 10PM. Over all all the front desk workers were just rude. They didn't even try to make things right we were always the problem. They were watching us like a hawk and writing notes on there computer every time we went to the front even if it was to get the KEYS MADE!!!! I'm not letting this one go so lightly I have friends who own hotels/ motels and they are giving me advice on what to do. So hopefully something comes about cause I spent a big chunk on this place. We took our business to Holiday Inn they were surprised when I told them what had happened. But yeah take your business else where. 0/10 stay. Very unprofessional."
"Very lovely hotel. The staff are very nice to talk to, the gal at the front desk was really nice! I talked to her for quite a while. The rooms were nice and clean, as well as the rest of the hotel. The complimentary breakfast was nice too :) I felt very safe here as a solo traveler"
