I’ve seen two therapists at this practice, and both have an uncanny ability to listen, really listen, and offer insights that have guided me back to a sense of balance. I half-expect to be handed a cup of tea and a cozy blanket – that's how welcoming all of the staff is! Their billing process is a breeze. Every time I've touched base with the administrative team, things have gone smoothly. I had a few initial questions about billing and insurance, but they were quick to respond and addressed all of my questions."

"I have immense appreciation for my therapist, Jessica Powell, and I have decided to continue receiving her care at a new practice. Her expertise in mental health is remarkable, and she possesses a broad range of techniques that allow her to tailor treatment to each individual's needs. Additionally, the presence of her dog added a delightful element to our sessions, but it's essential to note that she ensured my comfort with her pet's presence before allowing it to be a part of our meetings. On the other hand, I must express my STRONG reservations about Kathleen Lakey and Associates. Unfortunately, I cannot and would not recommend their services to anyone. The management at this practice exhibits significant shortcomings, leading to numerous billing problems. It's worth noting that the owner’s partner operates their own billing company, which appears to be the source of these issues. Furthermore, I am deeply troubled by the apparent racism within the practice, particularly directed towards their sole Black provider, and only person of color, Jessica. She has been treated extremely unfairly, seemingly reduced to a token 'diversity hire.' Such disrespect and racism are particularly distressing when coming from individuals who identify as "mental health professionals." While there may be other capable providers at this practice, the management's actions and attitudes cannot be ignored, especially in today's world where diversity and inclusion are paramount."

"I absolutely cannot recommend my therapist, Jessica Powell, enough. Her engagement, compassion, and genuine concern are unparalleled. The personal growth and positivity I've experienced under her care are beyond measure, and I've been through quite a handful of therapists lol. If she were to ever move on, I'd undoubtedly follow. She has been a real game changer. On the flip side, my experience with Kathleen Lakey & Associates has been a rollercoaster of disappointment, primarily due to severe billing issues. The lack of responsiveness and apparent mishandling of financial matters by their billing department have been VERY frustrating. Jessica is the sole reason I've stayed. Her positive influence contrasts sharply with the negative impact of the company's practices on my life."
