Reviews
"Julie is the best therapist I have worked with. She has a talent for listening and guiding therapy sessions to be productive each time. We are doing couples therapy and she has seriously saved our marriage and is continuing to help us build our relationship. I wish we would have found her years ago. She is seriously amazing."
"I had a really nice visit with Julie Stout. She provided assistance with what I needed to accomplish. She was open with me which made it easier to be vulnerable with her. She was personable, understanding, and straightforward. I look forward to future visits with her."
"She helped me and my exwife get to a better place. That place was divorce but it would have been far messier without her."
"I heard about Ms.Julie from a coworker who talked highly about her work. I’ve seen Ms.Julie for about a year now. I’ve enjoyed a lot of our appointments & I’ve grown as a person working with her. I have worked through a lot of hard challenges with Ms.Julie that I was afraid to face on my own. I’ve recently had some changes through my life & Ms. Julie has helped me navigate those unfamiliar new territories. Not only Ms. Julie tells me how it is with things but I walk out and feel like I can accomplish my goals. Never have I felt judged or miss heard as her patient. She has been very professional. She creates an environment for me to feel comfortable to talk things through. If you’ve gone through therapy you know that in-order for it to work you’ve got to put in the work yourself. Even if those work takes you out of your own comfort zone."
"The first appointment I had with Julie was terrible. She was late and had booked someone else at the same time as me. She wanted me to leave and come back at 9pm but the other person offered to come back later instead. She seemed bothered by me staying, claiming she had already begun the other person's appt while she was driving over to her office on the phone. She then had me begin by asking how I was. Well, I am mostly fine. I needed some help navigating a new way of thinking feeling and being. Yet, she never actually heard me explain anything. Everything I said from word one, she misconstrued and formed her own idea of the picture. I had another appointment with Julie a week later by phone and it was the same thing. She never once made me feel like she heard me through or even let me finish a thought or a sentence. I went for talk therapy and found myself having to defend who I am as a person, who has been through a very traumatic life. I am handling it fine, but it would have been nice to find the validation I was looking for that I'm doing ok. Instead of her telling me I need to validate those around me more. She didn't even understand the full dynamics of those relationships she was telling me about.... I felt like I was basically ripped apart by someone I paid to help my mental health. What a horrible experience."
