"Totally uncaring woman. My wife saw her in her first two trimesters and left most appointments in tears. When we tried to talk about her birth plan she said she would do "whatever she felt best" and that we had absolutely no say. That's when we knew we had to go somewhere else. Every appointment she would talk to us for 5 minutes and head for the doors. We would be calling her back to answer a few critical questions. Thank God we are old enough to be a bit more assertive. Younger people must be steamroller by this self absorbed selfish and uncaring woman. Don't go to her if you want any say in your care or a drop of bedside manner."

"I recently had an annual exam with Dr. Chelu. During this appointment the MA asked if I was comfortable with a Medical Student being present during the appointment, and let me know I would not need a pelvic exam. I thought it was strange that I wasn't having a pelvic exam, but didn't think much of it. I told the MA it was OK for the medical student to be present. When Dr. Chelu and the medical student arrived I was informed I would actually be having a pelvic exam. What I did not realize was that it would be the medical student performing the exam. By the time I realized this, I felt like it was too late to speak up. I had never said I was comfortable with the medical student performing the exam and at the end of the day, this bothered me more than the exam being performed by a student."

"I have been using Dr. Chelu for years now. She is now going to deliver two of my kids and I will continue to use her for the foreseeable future. It is very hard to find a good provider that will listen to you and offer support. I feel very comfortable around her and her staff. Her MA Mo is the best. "Dr. Chelu was on call when my baby was delivered. She is not my regular OB, but she took excellent care of me and communicated with my OB and other necessary doctors throughout the process. My husband and I planned on an unmedicated vaginal delivery, but after many unforeseen challenges, I ended up needing a c section. It was a hard process, but Dr. Chelu was kind and kept us informed every step of the way. She worked hard to comply with our wishes, but made sure to keep us safe as the challenges presented themselves. In the end, our baby was born by c section 25 hours after my water broke, and we were sure it was the best thing we could have done. Dr. Chelu’s kindness and professional skills helped us to safely bring our baby girl into this world, and we are forever grateful for everything she has done. I would recommend her 100%, especially if you are nervous about delivery. She has a very calming demeanor."
