"My mom passed away in October 2022. She had an annuity with SILAC. I reached out to SILAC to gain knowledge of “next steps” in order to close her account. This was one step in the laundry list of things to do to settle her estate. The process was extremely long - and not easy. I had to submit my paperwork more than once because they lost it the first time. I made sure to let them know, that on top of losing my mom, dealing with them made the situation worse. Overall, I was not impressed. I only gave a 2 star rating because 1 of the employees was extremely helpful and actually followed up with me."

How about you call your clients like professional companies do instead of having them constantly wasting time to try and get in touch with you. - This company is the absolute worst. Don't walk, RUN away from them!!!!!! I have been trying to get a hold of them for 4 months, and NO response. I am constantly on hold for hours at a time and get transferred and never talk to an actual person. "Never in my life have I experienced the nightmare and absolute insulting customer service of theirs company. Never in my life have I cried outwardly after 17 hours of hold times and still no service. After this is all over I intend to sue this company and with my voice assure others to look the other direction with this company - I just assume they offer large commissions to brokers…."

They are a bad investment for most people with high fees and little flexibility. CEO was sued for how he handled his former company. Wish I had never heard of them. Stay away."
