"The first time I scheduled an appointment and met with Dr. McGhee but since then I have not met with him. I chose EssentialMd because he is a black doctor. Now all staff are white and I rarely see the doctor in office. I understand expansion but the receptionist doesn't greet me and it doesn't feel warm like I expected it to be visiting a private practice led by a black doctor. Nurse Hoover is nice but it's a concern that all staff is not reflective of my ethnicity, given the reason I chose this practice. Respectfully."

"I’ve been going to Doctor McGhee for about 2 years now , he’s very friendly and gives good care and really cares about his patients. Super happy overall having him as my primary care Doctor and highly recommend him and his staff to have him as a primary care doctor. Also if you need to get in for urgent appointment they usually have slots open next day, I’ve been told around Tulsa that’s not usually the case with other primary cares. Can definitely save you some money by not going to the urgent cares. Thanks Essential MD"
