"I'm 27 and went my whole life without receiving any help with my mental health/trauma. I just want to say the outpatient department gave me a WONDERFUL experience and made therapy not scary anymore. Dr sharp, Dr Gayle, and Dr dejrah are all the women that made my experience a good one. If youre curious about medication and want someone who really cares, is kind and gentle, knowledgeable and wont force meds on you and really takes the time to learn what will work, dr sharp is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately I'm leaving state and I am sad to have to stop seeing them! But so thankful that I'm no longer afraid of therapy."

"I came to this place praying for healing; I regret trusting parkside every single day. In the end, I left even worst than when I came in. I had to leave that place in order to heal. Although I came here 4 years ago.. I can’t forget the treatment I received, the names I was called, all the different pills thrown down my throat. I was a depressed teenager not some manic that couldn’t think for himself. Take your child literally any where else but here. No doubt in my mind that I was worse when I left here. Full of disgusting staff who do not care for anything but a paycheck."

"When I took my child in we were having major issues and when they had us pick her up she was ten times worse than when we dropped her off. It is horrible! I am getting calls and text from the school and her teacher saying she was better before she went in even though she was bad and needed help... Hey totally messed up her meds. She told me every time she took meds they gave her melatonin... No wonder she was good for them and released her! We are in a panic trying to get something figured out! This is a nightmare!"

"Have had many encounters with staff. When they are nice it is lovely. But when they are rude they are horrible!!! Afternoon intake sharren. Extremely insensitive to parents. Does not care if parent is sad . Snatches things out of my hands just to hand it to me anyways... Rude rude rude rude rude insensitive rude. I hope that I never have to experience another encounter with someone so so rude . But probably will. Staff could use sensitivity training for sure"

"I went there twice for SH, staff was terrible, food poisoning, and they never even tried to help us. They just laughed at us whenever we complained about problems. they had to watch us talking to our parents who we barely even got to see. They didn’t teach us any coping skills whatsoever, and when we would complain about the ones that they did teach us how they didn’t help, they wouldn’t teach us anymore, It was hell at one point Me and almost every kid on the floor tried to escape, We should never have wanted to escape we should’ve wanted to stay so we could get help but no the staff had treated us terribly, Don’t bring your kids here, I spent at least two weeks both of the times I went, and I had to stay there, even for Easter a holiday!"
