"Dr Sterling was the first doctor in 3 years to listen to my concerns and understand the pain wasn't in my head. I was told by previous drs it was adhesions and even had a hernia removed. Turns out I had endometriosis. Just did my 6 week check up after a hysterectomy and I am so much better now. I can't thank dr Sterling and the staff enough for giving me back a pain free life."
"The extra star is for the phlebotomist. I will miss him! I originally chose this location because they do scans every appointment. I loved that, but the long waits and dismissed concerns made me switch providers halfway through my pregnancy. My blood work for thyroid levels came back out of range (which I expected, this was my 2nd pregnancy) but Dr. Black said it was fine and would not adjust the dose. I called several times asking why and no one would give me a reason. Good thing I checked the results myself and saw that they were red! They called and told me everything looked normal but my gut said to look myself. I consulted with my PC and he agreed with me that that it should be adjusted. My new OB was extremely confused why she wouldn’t adjust my dosage and wasn’t given an explanation. He agreed with the adjustment as well. Do not recommend. You shouldn’t have to fight for your care."
"I gave an extra star because Dr. Nilson is amazing and have been my family’s provider since my birth but after getting my IUD inserted by Megan I will never go back again. I was told at my first appointment there would be pain management but when I went back she said she “doesn’t find it necessary”, needless to say I cried the second I got to my car and passed out. Along with this, it wasn’t the original IUD I was going in for and was given zero warning or information over the side effects that would follow for the next five months until I removed it."
"I love Tulsa Women's Health Care. Dr. Nilson has been my doctor since 2007. He delivered all three of my babies and helped me through my hysterectomy. He genuinely cares about his patients and has become family. I love his staff, they are fun and energetic and always make sure you are getting a response to any questions. I recommend them to everyone I know looking for an OBGYN. Cannot say enough about them and what they have meant to me!"
"My honest review is that the Physicians assistant and the nursing staff are all over the place. My Doctor quit and before then had to reschedule twice. Then I call get an appointment and they give me the wrong time and the new doctor is only available for a limited time. Very frustrating . The front end help seems all to be a bit disheveled and it seems to be a bit chaotic and unorganized. I was given wrong information. I was told I had to sit in my vehicle and someone would call me when to come in, and yet there were people waiting in the waiting area, so there's that. I was given information over the phone regarding the pellet like just give blood and the next thing you can get pellet. That's not true you need to meet with a doctor first, which makes sense. It just felt like the front desk help needs more help and a better explanation on how the front desk should be working. I called numerous times to be left on hold for long periods and when I wanted to know my lab results from nurse, I was told they would give the nurse the message and I NEVER ONCE GOT A CALL.."
