"i wanted to get help with processing through my trauma; the woman doing the intake forms with me seemed so sweet and helpful. i checked in after 10 days of not hearing anything to find out that, regardless of me saying i’m not comfortable with a male therapist, they paired me with a man because the other therapist who i’d been assigned to “couldn’t take my case” after all. i called and told her no, and she started rambling about how he’s basically one of the girls and likes to get pedicures. ridiculously unprofessional and frustrating."

"I filled out my initial intake back in July and am still not receiving services. I think I’m just going to surrender to my mental breakdown at this point and accept my life is in crisis mode and is hopeless. So much for mental health - it was hard for me to even reach out and now I feel like nobody cares. After waiting 3 months, I was supposed to start with someone last week but she never showed (I emailed and texted). When I finally heard from her she told me she was having technical difficulties but couldn’t meet my availability that I have noted all along. She told me she would reassign me to someone by last monday. I waited all week and still never heard from anybody. I give up. Very disappointed honestly."

"I was really proud of myself for finally reaching out to find a therapist but this place made me feel very discouraged. I met with a case manage and then a therapist for intake appointments and then after about a month had a therapist reach out for sessions. My very first therapy session was with a therapist who was sitting in a car while someone else was driving. This made me very uncomfortable because I felt as if my identity wasn't being protected and I didn't feel comfortable talking with her. The therapist seemed very unprofessional and didn't really know what she was doing. She offered no useful feed back, was unable to properly communicate to me and ended our session after only 15 minutes."
