"Ready to be out of these apartments as soon as I possibly can. Worst place I've ever lived and I've been renting for 30 years. No hot water for going on 2 months. They keep saying they working on it but not seeing it. Pay to much rent to not have hot water. Roaches are horrible they do inspections constantly for no reason. Got told they were coming in to inspect fire extinguisher and they never put one in mine and never put in smoked detectors. They are more worried about the outside appearance than the actual important stuff. mold problems as well"

"I live here and would not recommend it. Roach problem is out of control. The quality of the apartment upon move in was mediocre at best. The fan in the bathroom is caked with dust and God knows what else. The closet where the air conditioning is is full of dust and exposed wires, and is the main place I see the roaches come from. There was not a smoke detector in the apartment when I moved in and the quality of the maintenance repairs is horrible. I have worked construction and have done home remodels and this is disgraceful. There are major holes and gapes in the door frames on the front door and sliding door. The sliding door does not lock and it's only secured with a bar. I ended up getting 2x2 to reinforce it. I am 9 1/2 months pregnant and have pressed this roach issue and was told my apartment would get treated and it did not. The disease that roaches carry is toxic and harmful especially to Newborn babies. I do not feel like the managers care about the quality of the apartment or the happiness of their tenants. I would compare them to "slum-lords" who only care about money. They did not show me or offer to show me the apartment before I paid for it. They also have yet to give me a copy of my lease agreement. They just today gave me a copy of the first and last page of a seemingly 65 page lease agreement. This is the second time in my life I have rented an apartment and feel like I was taken advantage of. It was only after I moved in and talked with other people did I realize that how they did things was not right or legal. DO NOT move here!!!"

"Ok. I'm going to start off by saying Ive always given these apartments the benefit of the doubt because of the area I knew they weren't going to be the best and I'm fine with that. But as optimistic as I am these apartments are AWFUL. First red flag, the frequent bug sprays. At first it was annoying cleaning out the cabinets everyone month for them to spray one tiny thing in the kitchen and if your lucky the bathroom, then I was begging them to spray more, now I've had to take matters into my own hands and spend alot of my own money to maintain the roach issue here. We're clean people even maintenance has said so. Second red flag, my vehicle. I brought my car with me when I moved in. It was NEVER running. And I had communicated that with what was now the "former managers" tino and jessica. They said no problem as long as it was registered on the lease it wouldn't be bothered. We moved it frequently so it didn't occupy a space to long. I moved in October 2017 it got towed on July 2018. I thought it got stolen, I even made a police report. Come to find out THE NEW MANAGERS HAD IT TOWED. she said so herself to me. I was so angry I couldn't see straight BUT it was an old car so I let it go. But there was obviously a reason I kept it. It had great value to me. And now TODAY my laundry has gotten stolen. The laundry mat doors just stay open for anyone to come and go as they please and surprise NO CAMERAS. I've lived here for a year and a half and ive NEVER had to worry about my laundry the people that live here ,my neighbors, everyone is great. Yes their just clothes. But me and my fiancé have sacrificed alot just to live here and it's just getting to the point to where it's ABSURD now. So i will NOT be recommending to ANYONE I know. And I advise you take your money to shoreline like I should've done."

"I’ve been here for around two years and two different apartments. Since moving here my cars have been vandalized a few times. Window busted once, recently cracked by small kids playing outside the office area, my tire has been stolen off of my car, and recently the antenna on my car was broken. Could be the kids kicking the balls around ( potentially because they’ve hit my car with me in it). On to another thing. ROACHES!!! I’ve lived in a few other apartments and have never come across such a disgusting mess of roaches. Apartments *updated* just a few coats of paint over the cabinets that stink and have an odd odor with added new cheap appliances. I’ve reported the roaches continuously but I have no idea if anything will ever get done (professionally). Roaches were a problem in both apartments but I guess it’s good the current one is free of mice and their droppings. I keep the kitchen clean so I’m a bit upset to have roaches in this “updated” apartment. Not sure if all of the 5 star reviews are legitimate but my experience here really hasn’t been what I anticipated. I am very motivated to leave here as soon as possible and would not recommend these apartments to anyone."

"Brookfield community is the best apartment complex i’ve ever been apart of. Maintenance is fast, grounds are well kept, and the management in the office is top tier. They made my move in process quick and painless. The nights are quiet and peaceful thanks to their night security. Would absolutely recommend to a friend."
