"I had a good experience renting through them when I was there. Thankfully I’ve purchased a house since. But every time we needed maintenance, we’ve gotten it, we got a nice townhome at the time and again, overall it was a good experience. We also never had a water bill. They also always kept the yards looking nice. As long as you pay rent on time, communicate with them when needed and are generally a nice person, they’ll work with you and take care of you. We had a two bed, 1 and a half bath townhome. It was two story and very cute and updated. Also their rental prices in my opinion are reasonable and some of the best ones I’ve seen in today’s economy. If you have a solid job or roommate, it’s fairly easy to find a place. They also allow pets, which was a life saver as well."
"Can not get anything done to house. Have been here 5 yrs and never was late. Window are falling out, huge holes at bottom of house which let's in all kinds of critters.floor is falling in. Rarely can we get anyone to answer the phone."
"Southwest Management is a joke. Scam artists at best! We rented a home from them for nearly 5 years and during that time frame had to fix multiple issues that were never addressed, completed multiple maintenance repairs that were reported to them and ignored using our own time and money. In May of 2021 a storm hit that caused our roof to leak. We called and immediately reported it to them as it was actively leaking in our home. Submitted multiple requests on the portal to have it fixed. When we recently moved out in August, the same leak was still active and not repaired! We lived with our 3 young children in a house with a leaking and most likely moldy ceiling for over a year! Upon moving out, we received a bill of charges on September 1st. These charges took our entire deposit and even required more money to be paid. I called first thing on the morning of September 1st to discuss these charges as some were justified but many were completely inaccurate. I asked to speak to someone about my concerns only to be put on the phone with an individual who couldn't answer a single one of my questions and had no idea what I was talking about. I was told that another individual would be calling me who was better informed on the situation and could help me figure things out and get to the bottom of the charges that I was in disagreement with. I waited and waited for a call back, called the business several times being told I would be called back and here we are, 3 weeks later and my calls are still being ignored. They left us with a leaky roof for over a year but wanna take money out of our pockets for things that never even existed in the house when we moved in, charging us for mowing the lawn when the grass was deader than a door nail in the midst of a severe drought when we moved out and there was no grass for us to mow, charging us for missing light bulbs that WE purchased seeing as we lived there nearly 5 years and had to replace several light bulbs and sadly the list goes on. I would not rent from this company ever again and unfortunately now have to take my complaints to the Texas Real Estate Commission and am out money from our deposit that should have been returned to us. Do yourself a favor and don't rent from these scam artists!"

"Southwest Management has managed my properties for the last 7 years. From my perspective, they have been a lifesaver. They take excellent care of my properties in a very timely manner. I do not have to wait until the monthly statements are sent to be advised of issues that a tenant has had and was taken care of. I have never had an issue with communication with anyone in the office, they have always been very proactive when it comes to letting me know if there is any concerns that a tenant has and are "Jonny-On-The-Spot" to get it taken care of. They have also always provided quality tenants that take care of my properties. They will always be my property managers."
