"Ah! The great outdoors!! We went on Saturday and no one around, this Riverwalk is huge, so that's the reason it's empty. Great place for a walk. Kids play place was packed and not very many masks worn."
"Somewhat disappointed. Google maps took us to The Gathering Place. Then the map showed the ramp on the other side of the river, having to walk across the river to get there. We just stayed at The Gathering Place. The park is very popular and there were plenty of people around. Kids playing basketball. Nice sidewalk trail that you can rent scooters.. Loved the scooters. The view of the river is nice. No clear way to walk down to the river. From what I can see across the river, is a ramp like walkway, zig zag down to the water. Looks fairly easy to access without trouble and awkwardness."
"I like River Parks. I just wish the gathering place would back off. River Parks is awesome. We love nature, not a fake/ artificial park like the gathering place. We need to preserve River Parks."
"I hear great things are in the works for making this better however with all the oil booms out cause holly frontier is leaching oil into river it doesn't make me want to get in water or pull fish out of it to eat when you see oil booms out"
"Horrible! The river was best left alone! It was already messed up. Nothing but a very strong oil smell and oil all over the west bank! And now the city wants to make it a gathering place? Ha!!! Won't ever be like OK. They're river doesn't flow through an irregulated oil refinery who can pollute without consequence!!!"
