Reviews
"Haven Dell is not a comfortable place to live. Didn't like the utilities, didn't like my roommate, he had a broken car in our garage so it was never used, didn't like the customer service from the main office, don't like people that never clean after their pets, and I especially didn't like my car getting towed three times."
"I was scammed by Haven Dell. I started an online application, but decided not to finish it after seeing the excessive fees required to apply. Even though I canceled the application, they continued to contact me saying that I owed them $300 to hold the property. I responded multiple times explaining that I decided not to complete the application and was not interested in the property. I then didn’t hear back, but got a notice from collections for the “holding fee”+ interest. Currently trying to dispute it."
"The folks at Haven Dell are amazing! As I started my journey to find an apartment, I toured many properties. I was about to sign a lease at another property; Haven Dell was on the way, so I stopped. Because of their professionalism and helpfulness, I knew that this was the place for me. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The other tenants have been respectful and quiet. This is the first rental property I have lived at for over 20 years, it has been great."
"My biggest issue with this place right now: This community sent out several emails discussing people not picking up after their pets, and requiring every dog to come to the office for DNA testing so they can identify who is not picking up after their dogs and charge them a fee. They also have installed doggy waste bins with bags. The problem is that NO ONE ever empties these bins. They are constantly overflowing with bags of dog poop to the point where the lid cannot close and people just put the bags on the ground around it or the bags fall out. There is also still tons of dog poop in the shared areas so whatever DNA testing was done clearly hasn’t stopped anyone. When you walk past the doggy waste bins you’re hit with the smell of hot dog poop that has been baking in a metal bin for weeks in the summer heat. You can smell it from 10 ft away."
"It’s sad that an HOA can have a written commitment in place with all its residence and not fulfill on any of its obligations. I’ve lived here for 1 month and here’s the issues so far: 1. They don’t answer the phone during any business hours, I’ve called at 9am right when they open, during the afternoon and during the evening. Nobody answers the phone, I leave multiple voice mails; and when I stop by the office, nobody is there. ONTOP of that, I called the emergency line 6 times at all different hours just to see if they would answer. And they did not answer a single time. 2. My internet does not work, yes there is service to the house, but it seems like the login info stopped functioning. I can’t get a hold of the community and the previous owner mentioned that last time they were able to get a hold of the community, they told him to “figure it out”. We pay the HOA for internet, that is also managed by the HOA and owned by them. Which means If I don’t have internet, it’s not my responsibility to troubleshoot and be an IT person. The fact that their is a paid service that is not being received or adequately provided is unacceptable. 3. Because nobody exists at the office, you have a gym that is out of wipes by the way, even though you have a “please wipe down your equipment after use” sign. 4. Your pool needs every other day maintenance, not once a week. Your community utilizes that pool 6-8 times a day with it averaging 5-10 people at one time. My girlfriend and I can never catch a moment where we can use the pool and it’s clean. (You also need people with pressure washers to come and clean off the pavement). I’ll update my review as these things get resolved, or I notice more issues."
