"this place was my first apartment and honestly was a good experience for the first couple months and at the time, I recommended the place to a lot of college friends when they move back but now I have deterred all of them. as a young female living alone, I experienced a few situations where I felt very unsafe because of the tenants they allow to live here. I understand you don’t really know how people will behave until they lived there, but I expressed a situation where I had to call the cops at 5am (on two different occasions) on my neighbor for a physical altercation with someone they had over all the time. This turned into someone’s apartment window getting a rock thrown through it and someone’s car window busted into. i came to tell the office that i knew who broke the car and apartment window in case they didn’t and explained how it was the second time they’ve had an altercation in early hours but the office told me there was nothing they could do to evict the tenant. At that point, I had already had multiple issues with the turnover of neighbors around me and how they behaved but this was a ridiculous situation to expect me to stick around after if they were going to do nothing about it. I also had issues with the maintenance constantly having to be in my apartment for a period of time because they couldn’t fix a shower problem and on different occasions they left my bathroom covered in dirt and black marks on my walls and didn’t clean it up. they also left ply wood hammered to my wall as a solution to a hole they made and never fixed that either. the campus is very pretty, the apartments are only a little dated, but my experience at the end of my lease was very disappointing."

"I moved here in October of 2021 after signing a 12-month lease. My kids and I loved it. It’s a quiet place with well maintained grounds. It’s clean here and we felt safe. Maintenance is highly responsive and fixes issues almost immediately. My neighbors were friendly. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the rent is high considering how outdated the units are. My cabinets and cupboards were chipping/broken/very old. The carpet downstairs in our townhome was new and didn’t match the old carpet they never replaced upstairs. The paint was old and cracking/chipping. The stairs leading upstairs to our bedrooms and bathroom were very creaky. We had plumbing issues here since day one of moving in and the ceiling downstairs was always leaking water and literally sagging. The painter who repaired the first ceiling hole informed me that the entire ceiling needed to be replaced. Well obviously, there were multiple patches in the ceiling from other leaks even before I had moved in. There are nicer, more updated apartments you can rent in the area for the same price."

"The only reason that I would give Sheridan pond a four-star is because it is outdated. It is expensive but it’s expensive everywhere. The office staff our wonderful! Katie and Ally have explained things to me in ways that are easy to understand. The maintenance staff has always been very quick to resolve any problems that I have had. And, I have not had many. Although the rent has gone up I love Sheridan pond apartments! They are quiet even with mixed age groups. I would recommend Sheridan pond office staff and maintenance staff to anyone. I plan on living here at Sheridan Pond for many years to come!"

"I would suggest you avoid this place. The rent has already gone up, and the maintenance is very subpar. The traffic in the neighborhood is a complete nightmare at rush hour. I had my motorcycle stolen in the middle of the night only to find out their are no security cameras except at the entrances and the "bikini cam" as the neighbors call it that faces the pool. They never have bothered adding security cameras, even after multiple break-ins to vehicles. It appears to be a secure gated complex if you ignore the 15-foot gap in the east wall. The criminal element that has recently moved south comes and goes as they please."
