"I was prescribed Lithium from Melicher, I told him I was planning on getting pregnant and he said I should stay on my medication. I changed insurance and got a new psychiatrist and found out lithium is one of the only mood stabilizers that causes birth defects. He could have changed my medication or at least informed me of the risk."
