"Great experience all around! After being sold a very expensive prescription at another clinic that didn’t seem to be the right fit, I was happy to have my feelings confirmed here. The Dr did not try to sell me unneeded glasses, and in fact let me know I really could pass on them as the prescription would be minimal, or perform any unnecessary tests. Ruled out my eyes as a cause for my newly frequent headaches very quickly. Dr and staff were all very friendly. Will definitely be sending my husband here, who definitely will be needing glasses (as much as he doesn’t want to admit it lol)"
"My experience with Dr. Bateman was excellent! However, the front desk associates were unpleasant to interact with. They seemed too bothered to be asked any questions that I had regarding pricing or lens options, which was unfortunate. But I still highly recommend Dr. Bateman for your vision needs! He took time to answer my questions and concerns."
"I went to Dr Bateman first my freshman year of college. I went back as my eyes had changed again 4 years later and the quality of care went way down. The first time I went, he sent me on my way with a prescription that didn’t work well. When I called to get it fixed, they were super nice and great to work with but I still had the wrong prescription. Plus, that day, Dr. Bateman called me and asked if I just wanted to revert back to my old prescription and skip the appointment. Which, was nice I guess but I didn’t. So we updated the prescription and it still didn’t work. At this point, I got frustrated and just have stuck with my old glasses. Maybe it’s me, maybe it’s my glasses or maybe it’s the clinic."
"Update: was able to get the issues resolved. Greatful to be able to see again. The owner was friendly. Short staffed. Running late. I didn't seem to matter because of being on Medicare due to being on SSDI. Very limited choice of men's frames. Frames got snagged on my shirt taking it off. Had them maybe a few days. A week at most. They said the frames had no warranty. But could buy another pair. It felt like I didn't matter there because I didn't have better insurance and more money."
"Front desk staff are unpleasant to interact with. They don't admit when they give you a wrong answer and are not transparent when adding all the coatings and pricing the frames/lenses without having to push them for it. Overall are very uninterested in getting you the glasses you want. The optometrists have been fine to work with. Have been going here for years, will not be returning."
