"Went to my first visit to find a provider for my toddler. I never experienced such an uncomfortable moment then when the Dr ask my 3 year old if she was a girl or boy. (Mind you we was talking about her speech, I wanted to know if she was on track) what does her gender have to do with her speech? I couldn’t believe what I was dealing with. Why would she ask my 3 year old this question it had nothing to do with her well check, aside from that she went and commented and said to me “ we want to encourage her to be comfortable with her chose” I got really upset at this point and addressed to her that my daughter is a girl and that she has never ever been asked that question, it’s like asking her what’s 9x5. I would never go to this clinic again. I was in such disbelief and beyond uncomfortable having to deal with this over a simple well check. I will never come to this clinic again."

"Usually have had great experiences here. Went twice today for two children's dental appointments. First went great. Second was for a cavity filling. My son was nervous and started to cry a little when the local anesthetic was applied. He wasn't screaming, was not moving around. One of the dental students left the room, came back and told the other student to remove the anesthetic and that they would no longer be doing the filling. I was shocked. They didn't consult me, they basically just kicked us out. Again my child was not screaming, was not moving in the chair, they just decided with the attending that he needed stronger medication that they weren't prepared to administer. I'm not sure why I wasn't asked about what I thought was best for my child or how I thought he would handle continuation of the procedure, or why the attending didn't come in and help! I'm very upset. I'm upset I wasnt included in the decision making, I'm upset that I'll now have to prolong the filling."

"My experience here with my baby was terrible. I was trying to find a new pediatrician, and ended up being there for over 2 hours. The waiting area is not child friendly, and I was surrounded by sick people. The exam room was also not equipped to take care of babies and children. The nurses were unprofessional and I felt uncomfortable the whole time. I will never bring my child here again."

"Dentistry was a disaster. This is a student clinic, so the appointment was unlike a traditional dentist visit, this was not explained prior to the appointment. In addition, the billing was a major hassle as the front desk had some miscommunication issues. I’m currently trying to provide my insurance info, and the phone number for the south main clinic doesn’t even mention dentistry in their call menu options. Main school of dentistry says they’re unrelated. It’s been kind of a train wreck. I went for a routine check up and teeth cleaning, left with really neither. I’d be careful that you know what you’re getting yourself into before going here for dentistry, it’s been a pretty terrible experience."
