Reviews
"Dr. Mazur focused entirely on the social aspects of my difficulties that I brought up with her and barely acknowledged my sensory struggles. She kept claiming to avoid biases when I tried to give her my folder of research on my symptoms, and said if I was autistic it was “a mild case” and that I am “still able to function”. She then proceeded to recommend CBT and evidence based therapy (which wasn’t terrible), but then stated that social workers weren’t much help as therapists. She proceeded to gaslight me over several symptoms and insinuated that I was slow in the head, despite being developmentally and cognitively ahead after my birth at 30 weeks gestational age. She uses a lot of leading questions, and has a bias towards AFAB seeking an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis. At one point, she got frustrated with me and her body language got increasingly agitated, which felt highly unprofessional. Seems that she only seeks out the textbook definition of autism that white AMAB individuals exhibit."
