"Dr parks has been my OBGYN for 13+ years, she will be delivering my second son early April and has always been great to work with! Her and her nurse Katrina have always listened to my concerns and talked me through them."
"My wife and I are from Canada and had so much stress at the beginning of our pregnancy as we had no one in the city and had no clue about the medical service in the USA. However, I can assure you that Dr. Trisha Parks is a true angel who made the entire process a sweet, relaxing and amazing journey to remember. Dr. Trisha Parks and her staff were super friendly, experienced and professional. We will forever thank her for helping us through our pregnancy. She is one of the best in her profession."
"6 months ago I had twins with Dr. Parks. I had a bad experience with both the pregnancy and birth. Her medical assistant took days and multiple phone calls to answer my questions. Her assistant does not communicate with Dr. Parks. She didn’t know that I called about bleeding or high blood pressure when I came in for my next appointment. I had hyperemesis and gestational hypertension and I had to call multiple times to ask for the medication Dr. Parks prescribed during the appointment to be called in. I delivered at 37 weeks. After refusing to be pressured into a scheduled C-section, she induced me. I told Dr. Parks and my labor nurse that I did not want an episiotomy. While I was pushing Dr. Parks picked up a scalpel and the nurse reminded her I did not want one. She said “I don’t care” and did it and then also used a vacuum to get him out. She immediately said I needed a C-section for baby b. During my vaginal delivery I experienced a urethral tear. Dr. Parks repaired it incorrectly and I hemorrhaged for a couple hours before my labor nurse saw the open tear. It had to be repaired by the doctor on call. I had to get 4 units of blood as a result. When I went for my 6 week postpartum visit Dr. Parks was in the room for 5 minutes and did not do an exam. At this time I was still having high blood pressure and severe pain and she did not prescribe new medications or investigate the cause of the pain. She just told me to come back in 2 weeks. I started seeing a new OB after that."
"Dr. Parks is amazing. I came to her after having fertility issues and within a month or two I was pregnant. She takes an ultrasound at every appointment just in case, and has the best bedside manner. She delivered my high-risk baby beautifully and took care of me as I would hope. I am so thankful Dr. Parks was referred to me - I will never go anywhere else."
"Dr. Parks did a membrane sweep without my consent. She said she was going to check my cervix, which I agreed to. While she was performing the exam, she made a quick movement that hurt so badly I pulled back away from her on the table. When she removed her hand it was covered in blood. She informed me she “went ahead and did a membrane sweep to see if that would get things started.” I was in so much shock I didn’t say anything in the moment but I wish I would have. The front desk staff is also completely incompetent. They often would try to schedule my appointments much further out than they were supposed to be, especially towards the end of my pregnancy when I was supposed to be coming in every week. Not to mention they failed to get a message back to the nurse in a timely manner to inform her that I had issues with my stitches postpartum, resulting in me having to wait an entire weekend to get the problem addressed. I really appreciated Dr. Parks calm manner overall, but the membrane sweep really left me with a bad taste in my mouth. By the time it happened I felt it was too late in my pregnancy to switch providers, so I stuck it out. But most likely won’t return for my next."
