"So I took my girlfriend to this hotel for the night. I got my room directly from their website. Which sends you to a third party seller. That's been a nightmare from day one. The third party charged an additional 80 dollars on top of the over priced room. First thing I noticed was only two pillows on the bed. I asked front desk for 2 extra pillows and was told they don't do that. Upon further inspection of the room the towels had yellow stains on them. Asked for extra towels and pillows from the next front desk employee which they did help out. That night after sleeping half the night I found a dog chew toy under the fitted sheet. So I pull the blankets off to find it had a yellow massive stain where my girl was sleeping all night. I told the front counter people the following morning and they acted like they were appalled. Told me I deserved a refund. I've been on the phone with them for the past 3 days trying to receive a refund. They told me I was refunded but I haven't. I was promised a phone call from management for since Wednesday. I've yet to receive one. I called Guest Services which is the third party seller. They tell me u have to write them an email detailing what happened. Which I did then they asked I send another email with the managers name. Now I was told the hotel would fix this. It's been a complete nightmare and cost me 250 dollars for one night. I want my money back but at this point this hotel has taken hours of my time to try to fix what they should have fixed themselves."
"The room we had was NOTHING like the pics on their website. Not even close. The bathroom was not clean - the shower curtain had a TON of mold on it. I showed it to the front desk staff in the morning and they were appalled. Said a manager would be calling me shortly. That was about 15 hours ago. Still waiting. I figured I'd tell her the other complaints but didn't get the chance. The bathroom floor has not been cleaned around the edges in ages - dirt and dust along with hair there. Gross. The fake plants in the rooms were full of dust. The bathroom curtain had hair all over it. Would NOT recommend this place."
"The Campbell hotel is a very interesting place. Each room has its own theme, the staff is pretty friendly. The place feels like an antique kind of Grandpa or grandmother's house. Feel it is a historic building that's kind of cool. I just wish there was more around there and that they had a restaurant of some sort or vending machines. When you stay so if staying, make sure you have food or ability to go get food or have a delivered to you."
"Not what you'd expect from what it looks like outside. Could use a paint job. They obviously try to conserve on everything as the creamers and coffee for kurig were all different types. I was first put in room 203 I think and the room was so depressing due to the black tone and paint. Was nice to 217 which was much nicer. Very soft beds. Space is cramped a bit. There was a very wobbly fold out table available. The hair dryer was sticky and dirty. Very deep bathtub and lovely hot water. Quiet location but not walkable to anything of interest. Hardwood floors make it a bit noisy at times. No transport service. All staff are extremely helpful and nice. Good for one visit."
"I'm a little conflicted in writing this review, so I'll start with the good. The service here was amazing. The staff were all so sweet and friendly, and they answered any questions we had with a smile. The hotel is in a great location with easy parking. We stayed in the bridal renaissance suite for our anniversary, and it was truly like we were transported back in time with the beautiful decorations and atmosphere. Now the not so good. This is such a nice hotel, so I expected a bit nicer when it came to the room, bedding, and towels. The comforter was ripped in places, the towels had holes in them, and the beds head and foot boards were extremely stained and dirty looking. Additionally, there appeared to be trash from the previous guests on the floor and it looked as if the rug wasnt vacuumed. Overall it wasn't the worst, but I definitely had higher expectations given this room cost $237."
