"I have never left a review but we had very a negative experience here with the staff, I want other to be aware . We were referred by Super Smiles for two of my sons to have dental procedures. The pre-Op staff was very friendly and helpful. My youngest son went back first, his procedure took about an hour and during that time we sat with my older son in pre op. The nurses there told us a post op nurse would come get us when my son who went first was awake. They took my older son back to start his surgery and after about 10 minutes a nurse came into the pre op room franticly telling us she had been looking for us everywhere. (We were in the very first pre op room with the curtain wide open) While walking back to post op, with attitude she asked if we had been enjoying ourselves watching the TV and asked if we would have liked popcorn insinuating we were in pre op “just because” instead of being with our son. I informed her we were instructed to wait where we were and a nurse would come get us to take us to our son. This really rubbed me the wrong way for sure. Fast forward 30 minutes or so. My oldest son was still in surgery and my youngest was in post op. He was very upset after waking up from anesthesia so I was holding him on the chair. At one point, a nurse barged in and asked if we wanted the bed out. I was explaining to her our other son was still in surgery and would be out soon but before I was able to answer “yes” so we could have room for the other bed, she cut me off mid sentence and said all she wanted to know is if we wanted the bed or not. All I could do is look over at my fiancé in disbelief at how incredibly rude she was to me. Lastly, my oldest son came out surgery and his mouth was gushing blood. I expected some but this was ALOT and it was not stopping. The nurse told us this was normal but the blood seemed extreme. I was able to see a huge chunk of his skin coming off the inside of his lip. I looked on the inside of his mouth and he had bit his lip so hard so many times, you could see deep cuts from his teeth. His lip was also swollen up gigantic but they had no idea until I had brought it up. I understand this was not preventable really, but to be told this amount of blood was normal for a couple fillings and two crowns when it clearly was not and was completely caused by something else."
"MOST UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF EVER. After confirming an appointment with their staff 4 different times for a 7am appointment, we get there and they tell us we were supposed to be there at 6am even though they all told us 7, that it is our fault and they will not work on my 3 year old child. Because i told them how unprofessional they are and that this behavior was ridiculous, I now have to find a new dentist for my child."
"My husband and I were both scheduled for colonoscopy’s and had started the prep. I get a call forming Memorial to get information for the anesthesiologist and when they asked the question about Covid and I said we had had it 4 weeks ago they said we could not have the procedure. Keep in mind that we had already started the prep ( the solutions to clean out our system). If they had called earlier than the day before the surgery ( or communicated this about covid) this could have been prevented. Very upset and would never texted mend this center. ."
"Just spoke with a nurse. Without league power of attorney papers I'm not allowed to be with my disabled husband that has PTSD, while the review the consent papers, to assure he understands. Never had this issue before. Told if he shows any confusion the surgery will be canceled. He will not have his saport dog or myself..."
"I have taken two of my young kids here to have their cavities filled and it's always been a pleasant experience. There's toys for them to play with in the waiting area as well as complimentary coffee. The nurses took great care of them and made them feel comfortable, not scared. The only thing that bothered me was after the surgery, they refused to give them anything to take for the pain, which is something they have previously done. My daughter is 6 and doesn't have much of a pain tolerance and cried for the rest of the day about the pain despite me giving her OTC Tylenol and Motrin. It's a shame that some people who abuse these medications ruin it for those who don't. Other than that, I really liked this office."
