Lexington Ridge Apartments

"If you notice, there are no reviews after a year and every bad review the management feedback states the reviewer wasn't a resident. I lived there for 3 years without any incident. They hired a new manager and when our contract ended, we were asked to vacate. We sat down with the property manager, who knows nothing about how to conduct her job and has to rely on a person who is not even acquainted with anyone who is a resident of Lexington ridge apartments, and discuss the vacate letter. The property manager wanted to have a meeting with the lady, i have never met or seen the years I lived there, nor did this lady attend any events or help conduct the apartment mandatory inspections. The reason was they thought we weren't happy there. I assured them we wer, but the strange lady insisted we weren't. I never complaine, so I was puzzled about the confusion. They did say they would give us 60 days and we moved in 30, but there must've been a problem with that because we were emailed, not mailed, that they will give us our security deposit after the extra cleaning was tallied up. We cleaned it prior to moving and I brought this to her attention. She again had to see if she could get the stranger to talk to us because their 1st cleaning crew wasn't trained and they would have to do a second cleaning on the 1 blade I forgot to clean on the ceiling fan. And after that cleaning crew was done, they were not properly taught to clean and destroyed the carpet and the vinyl floors. However the company decided to charge us 1500 dollars., even though we were nice enough to not turn them in for their negligence in returning our security deposit and cleaning checklist that was supposed to be mailed before 14 days, legally. But if you want to live where there is lots of car break ins, no staff when staff is supposed to be scheduled, fights and cops on a weekly basis, your apartment is free for management or maintenance to enter without notice, cars speeding through, taking the chance of having your renters personal information stolen from the unsecured Dropbox, amenities taken away because they would rather shut it down then to research how and why there would be glass in the pool because they are more concerned if a car has a flat tire or the local drunk is harassing the residents on a regular basis and feels at home, then this is the place for you. If you like a scroll of rules to live by, like you're living in a dorm, then this is your place. If you're to walk through snow instead of a sidewalk and figure out how to get out of the complex, this is your place. If you want something fixed, make sure you're lease is long enough to wait. And you don't get your deposit back. No one has."

"I loved living here at Lexington Ridge. I would stay if I didn't have to move to another town. I have lived at Lexington for around three years as a college student. The complex is phenomenal. The staff members are wonderful and easy to work with. Throughout my time here there were a few minor maintenance issues, but they were fixed the same day! Shannon, the property manager, is very kind and super helpful! I had a roommate leave mid-lease due to other opportunities and Shannon was so willing to help solve the problem. She absolutely goes above and beyond for the residents. The apartments are very well-kept and are in good shape. It definitely is a family-friendly place. Lots of parking availability too. The complex is a short distance from Hy-Vee and Walmart and super close to SCC. Highly suggest living here!"

"I moved into these apartments in August 2019, and they have been incredible! Maintenance requests get done almost always on the day requested or the day after. Shannon, the property manager, is incredible and is always very easy to get in contact with. The only reason we are moving is because I got a job in Omaha, otherwise we would stay here. When we found out about having to move before our lease was up, Shannon was extremely helpful and gave us all of the information we needed in order to try to find someone to take over the lease. If you are looking for a place that is quiet, this is really the place to be. I have literally never had an issue with noise. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. I have never had an issue finding parking on any side of my building. There is always space and never overcrowding. The gym is clean, well kept and never over populated. I would 100% recommend living here if you're looking for something quiet and private. Also, the location is really great because it's right across the street from Hy-Vee, FNBO, and in between Walmart and Aldi. You pretty much have your pick of where you want to get groceries. Great location if you live in Lincoln and have to commute from Omaha, as well, because it's not too far from I-80 and only 20 minutes to downtown Lincoln."

"We loved living at LR and we hope to return if we move back to Lincoln. We have no complaints. They have wonderful amenities at such a good price. Washers/Dryers in units and balconies/patios. Garages available along with a pool, work out room, etc. Maintenance is great and I'm glad that we found this place. Century has good management, unlike other apartments in Lincoln. We highly recommend this place."

"I lived here for a little under a year and the manager, Shannon, frequently went out of her way to help and make sure things were taken care of. maintenance responded quickly. The biggest problems we ever had was our fridge leaking and our upstairs neighbors- the fridge was fixed and she said if it happened again they would get us a new one, the upstairs elephants were a pretty consistent annoyance, but that's to be expected anytime you have someone living above you. Shannon was so accommodating, when I was looking for an apartment from out-of-state she actually offered to take me on a facetime tour of the apartment. Then when I asked if we could work out a way to end our lease a bit early (I was moving to Omaha) she found a new renter to move in at the time we were moving out so there was no early lease termination penalty. I and my roommate had a 2br/2bath that was laid out perfectly - two separate areas that were completely equal in almost every way. The workout room and pool were well taken care of and there was always plenty of parking. There is also a full size basketball court and a huge courtyard perfect for throwing frisbees or tanning. The apartment itself had tons of storage space and I loved how big the closets were - I could fit my dresser inside of the closet. I thought the price was reasonable - though I know it used to include cable and now it doesn't. I was very comfortable living there and it was a wonderful experience for my first apartment. Coming from out-of-state and not knowing what to expect I was so happy to have picked this place. The property is well maintained and Shannon and Drew are the very best! I would highly recommend LR to anyone."
