"TLDR; I'll save you some time and tell you that this is the best market price per bedroom in this town. Period. Firstly this place is immaculate and well priced, what an incredible value compared to other options in the area! Regarding credit checks, I hear you. I have perfect credit over 800 so it's not my problem, and I understand the agency needs a way to vet people and verify income and payment ability. HOWEVER I firmly believe any agency running a credit check for the purpose of business the consumer should have that count towards their credit history. In other words, if my credit score isn't effected by timely rent payments, you shouldn't be allowed to run credit checks for lease approval. Consider w2 or paystubs or something??"
"I don't know if it was the fact that I came in there after work (a very physical job) or if it's because I'm brown. But the lady in the office said my credit score wasn't high enough. She claimed it was 612. After rechecking credit karma and paying for experian I found my score was above 650. The cut off is 620 for the apartments. I felt judged and discriminated against. Even though I have a good job as well no criminal history."
"Discriminatory renter here. Do not waste your money filling out the application. Our credit scores are perfectly fine, she just did not like the way we looked. I could tell right away after we talked to that old crow in the office we were not welcome here. Apartments looked pretty run down too if I'm being totally honest. Beware"
"These apartments are poorly managed. When we first got to our apartment nothing was even cleaned or looking nice when we moved in. And we are currently being overcharged by the owner Tammy. Can’t even have kids here that are under 13 months old? Pretty ridiculous, none of the restrictions are met either, I see people smoking outside on “private property,” this is suppose to be non-smoking facility. There is shattered glass all over around the trash dumpsters. Can’t even get a reason why I’m currently being overcharged by $150. Pretty ridiculous, being asked to pay $800 when we have a single room apartment($650). If your reading this and considering renting from these apartments, please don’t; very poorly managed and just ridiculous."
"I travel for work quite a bit so I've lived in a number of apartment communities. This was by far the worst place I have ever lived. Sure, it provides a place to stay with a kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom. It is an apartment so of course there will be noise, but this noise was unbelievable. Cheap construction, paper thin walls means that you can hear your neighbors conversations, easily, as well as every footstep, ever person coming or going, every snore, and every baby cry. The parking lot is terrible. If you have a truck, forget about it. I drive a pick-up, F150. It was too big to turn forwards into a spot so I had to back in, but wait, reverse parking was not allowed. Who knows why, but i got multiple tow notices for it. I frequently received notices that I owed them money beyond my rent payment, if you get these, you will get a cryptic account summary, review carefully, chances are, their accounting system messed up, not you. Record every payment made to them carefully. And last, but certainly not lease, move out time. My lease was a string of 3 month lease terms that I renewed 4 times. My lease termination date was October 1st, they asked me to move out a week early so they could rent it, whatever, unprofessional, but I can deal. However, when it came to cleaning requirements, holy cow! Remove light fixtures and place them on counter, buy new 9v batteries for everything, don't clean drip pans, they will just charge you for new ones. haha. Anyways, my security deposit was $400.00.... I sanitized that place, absolutely spotless. It has been about 45 days now since I left and still no security deposit returned. I called to see where that was at and she said that I was charged all of it for cleaning and repairs. They didn't even send me a notice that that had happened. GRRRRR, needless to say, I read all the reviews that it was hard to get your security deposit back, so I did everything I could.....but to no avail. The property management company is from California, so good luck. It is cheaper to buy a house in North Platte than rent from this place............... true statement though - it is the cleanest and newest complex in North Platte, so if that is what you value, this might be the place for you....if you are deaf......and rich......."
