"Zero stars, if I could. Worst "therapy" experience of my life. I was recommended to Sandra by my therapist for an ADHD/Autism evaluation. Like anyone, I wanted to understand how my brain worked better because it always felt a little off. I'd never experienced any psychological assessment before, so this was my first one. I came in and immediately, Sandra asked why I was there. I explained, honestly, that I'd had some questions about my thought patterns and that I'd done some research and seen things online that resonated with me regarding ADHD and Autism. First, Sandra asked me start giving her examples of why I felt I had Autism/ADHD. I did. All Sandra would say is "be more specific" without offering any help. I thought I WAS being specific. So I started to let Sandra know about my previous journey with ADHD and how after many many months of begging, I was able to be prescribed Vyvanse. I told her it had made a massive difference in my life, but that I wanted a diagnosis. She instantly shut me down. "You can't get an assessment if you're medicated" she said. Ok. I can accept that. So ADHD assessment was out. I'd been in the room about 10 minutes total. So I moved on to my second concern: Autism. "You can't have Autism. You make eye contact too well" she replied. I was floored. I know how much my eye contact costs me. But she'd shut me down. No follow up questions. I think she asked me maybe 3 questions total the entire session. Less than 20 minutes after I entered Sandra's office, I was back in my car, crying in humiliation and with zero answers. Do not put your trust in Sandra Schatz."

"Sandra is unethical. The fake review below crafted by Kari Danzy, her receptionist at the time this review was posted, is just one of many examples. You don't need to have your staff post fake reviews if you are an ethical psychologist. If you need an accurate psychological assessment, you will not get it here. Sandra allows bias to cloud her judgement. Sandra's "behavioral" assessment is unethical, especially for trauma survivors. The testing is antiquated and doesn't cover the full depth and breadth of human experience. One test had someone else's name as well as their test results. Not very confidential. It is an expensive, traumatizing waste of time, effort and emotional resources; especially from a vulnerable community."
