"Doctor refused to give me my medication. Accused me of lying about my trauma. Do not recommend."
"I kept getting told I would be out in 2 days then it kept changing.. the doctor here is so rude and told me I was bipolar which I have never been diagnosed with. The place is filthy and the food is terrible it comes from the jail and it’s served cold most the time. I thought I was depressed when I went in there but man I felt extreme depression just from being there. The beds feel like you are sleeping on a rock and you can’t take a real shower because it’s either scolding hot or freezing cold no matter what. This place did not help my mental state at all.."
"An involuntary facility for crisis stabilization and referrals and it does the job! Staff is attentive and the doctors are experienced. While it would be poor taste to "recommend" an involuntary facility, as the people using its services are in a time of crisis, staff are experienced and kind and safety is extremely important here. Staff answering the phones can guide you, within the best of their ability, in referrals and recommendations for long term services."
"This is not a healthy environment to be in, especially after a suicide attempt. I see most people are complaining on cleanliness, that was the least of my concerns, they are by far under-staffed. The orderlies at least 95% of the ones I had contact with were amazing and care (which is why they received an additional star) It's the lack of supervision, I thought on more than one occasion I was going to be stabbed. Who gives completely unstable people, after watching them beat themselves, and punch themselves in the face for 10 minutes. I went over 36 hours without speaking to any professionals, other than the over worked orderlies, who were definitely trying their best, but really didn't have time to talk. As for the professionals you do have to talk to... To start a treatment program, their in-house psychiatrist is probably the worst man I've ever met in my entire life, DR Roy, when asking questions would stop me after I would start talking, could barely get a word out, and then answer for me, if trying to rebuttal the answer he answered for you again would stop me and then just write down what he said about the me. Also the man took a 5 minute personal phone call during the with a family member, I assume his wife, seriously who does that. By the end nothing was accomplished other than him having a an a one sided interview that I had zero input in. The communication with inside the organization is terrible worse than I've seen and I've served in the Army for over 20 years and I've seen some pretty bad communication in my career. I was supposed to get my paperwork after being discharged, didn't receive it, which I'm pretty sure is actually a federal offense for patience rights, and I will be making a report about that as well. I don't think they're used to having individuals who are coherent and compliant, so I'm sure 99% of all of these things go under the rug. Overall they need more staff, a new psychiatrist, and need to do an evaluation to see where a person should be put. This place seems to be just overflow for the regional center."
"Great place. The staff are super kind and definitely have client's best interests at heart. The custodial staff keep the place very clean. The group therapist is very kind and does so well working with the clientele. I have never seen a client be ignored by a staff member when they were in need. All staff work hard to help the people who are in need while they are here."
