"Just waited in line at the drive thru at Walgreens 70th and Pioneer. As usual, service here is slow - so I wait. In fact, I wait so long that I turn my vehicle off after each time I move up a space. Then I finally get to pull up to the window at 1:30 and watch all the pharmacists file out the door for their lunch break after they stick a "No pharmacist available" sign in the window. Can't 2 or 3 of the pharmacists stagger their lunch? This is a terrible policy!! There's no reason that they all have to go to lunch at the same time. Sign or not, this is terrible customer service!! I know that there are several fine pharmacists and techs that work at this Walgreens. But it would be basic common courtesy to either have someone finish the line of waiting cars, or go out 10 minutes early and put cones up with a sign outside where customers can actually see it. That way they don't have to wait and waste their time only to get turned away. Or maybe Walgreens doesn't consider their customers' time important."
"Pharmacy worker was very snarky, rude, and not helpful. So many prescriptions get messed up. I have stayed because they are close, this is not worth it"
"Huge waiting in the drive through lines any time you visit. Hate to have my prescriptions routed to this location. Dont know the reason why they take for ever for every single customer. Been seeing the same issues since months. Hope they hire some good experienced people with solid computers, their data always gets over written by the old address reflecting 10 years back address."
"The pharmacy staff at this location is incredibly incompetent. Working with the staff at this location has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of my life. I have problems with my prescriptions getting filled every month. They are always able to figure it out after I push back, and explain that they are mistaken and that this happens every month. They then have to get 3 people involved, talk amongst each other and "do it again". Everything somehow then magically works. I have given this location almost a year to improve their process, train staff, etc., but it's now time to move on. Driving an extra 15 minutes to a different pharmacy will end up saving me hours over the course of the next year."
"I am a pharmacist at another local pharmacy, and I called this Walgreens location on a Saturday evening to get some transfers for a customer who had called me wanting to transfer their prescriptions here. The pharmacist there was so incredibly rude because she was worried about the fact that I called five minutes before she closed. She didn’t know how she was going to get this done in five minutes. She kept bringing it up that she closed in five minutes. We’re not even open on the weekends. I came in and was working on my day off so that I could help patients get their medication’s more efficiently. And she was worried about getting off in five minutes on time so she doesn’t have to stay a minute late? I wish I would have told her that I was working on my day off but it probably wouldn’t have even registered. I honestly didn’t know they closed in five minutes, or I would’ve waited till the next business day. But I even told her that I could wait until the next day because it wasn’t something that I absolutely need it tonight. Then she started snapping at me saying well I’m not here tomorrow so I have to get this done tonight. I said “Surely there’s another pharmacist there tomorrow that can take care of that for you right?” I totally see why that patient wanted to transfer here after my interaction today!!! I can’t even count the number of times I’ve voluntarily stayed late or worked my days off or came in early, et. Etc, so that I could help my patients!!!"
