"I called for the monthly rent of a 2 bd in early 2023 and was told by the mgr, “I’m not sure. I’ll have to look and call you back” should’ve avoided this place at that point! On April 20 I get a call abt an opening for a 3 bd with rent at $643 so I applied and discussed a July 1 move in date. No problem it seemed. Then I was denied and figured fine, move on, so I did! On 5/3 I get a call from mgr #2 asking if I’m still interested and when I’d like to move in. We discuss things and I’m asked abt a June 1 move in but again said the soonest would be July 1 for me. We talked abt lease papers in June and getting keys July 1. I was sent more forms to fill out and redo for signatures and I completed them and sent them back. At this point I thought for the second time my papers are being reviewed and I should hear soon. Wrong! On 5/17 I get another call from mgr #3. Care to guess what I was asked?! Right, was I still interested and when did I want to move in. So again i mentioned the July 1 date and that I thought this was all being dealt with. She asked abt June 1 move in and still said my papers aren’t approved and basically nothing is being done at this point but she will submit them and plan for July. Doubting this would move forward I decided to call 5/22 and ask if papers were submitted for approval and wow was in shocked! The place I was looking at was NO LONGER available at the rent we discussed. Rent went from $643 to abt $1000. Govt funding just stopped within 2-3 days is what I was told - ?? I’m to believe management had no prior knowledge of this when we spoke that prev Wednesday 5/17? I was then told none of my paperwork was going to work because it was 120 days since applying! It’s been less than 30 days but ok. And I was still asked abt June 1 move in. So after hearing all this it seems the push for June must mean they gave this unit to someone else and expected me to just take another empty unit at a higher rent. Which would make sense why my paperwork was no good because i would need to be approved at a higher price point now too. At this point I said I was no longer interested. This was a complete waste of a months time. Nothing was done. I talked with 3 different people and nobody had any clue what the other had done so it was always a new start each time. Unprofessional and unorganized to say the least. If you apply here, use caution and expect changes along the way. Also, plan to call weekly or you will never get answers."
"I love living here! The property is very well taken care of all the time. If you need help with something you never have to wait long."
"My friend and I were hoping to move here in the fall, and we were told we were number one on the waitlist for 2 different units, a 2 bedroom and a 3 bedroom. We then dropped the 3 bedroom as we were all certain we had a unit and we wanted that one more, and so we sent in a cash deposit for it. Since we first applied in April, we have had many different phone calls with the 2 people in the office, and we were also told 2 different stories every time as to what was going on which caused so much confusion. We were told there was more paperwork we were being sent, then there was none and we just had the place. Then we were told the move in date was moved a month due to the current people there extending their rent but we were okay still. Every phone call was something new and honestly it seemed sketchy the whole time, it was a mess. It is a little over a month until we were going to move up there, with jobs being lined up and my stuff all left up there because we had this place lined up, and we found out today we don't have the place anymore.. We were told about the income cap in the very beginning and we were told we were okay, and we even informed them that we would be making more if we got a different job that is being lined up and they said that is okay, but all the sudden they decide to tell us its not okay anymore to live here it would be too high of an income and just that they should have told us in the beginning?? I would not rent through this company at all. I have rented through Help-U-Rent in the past and they were 10000% easier and organized than this mess, I would recommend them instead!"
"Wonderful community! Great management!"
"Beware do not rent from Rocky Bluff apts they lie to you they make you pay off former bill off your credit report then they screw you over by telling you that you don't qualify the income requirements"
