Travelodge by Wyndham Spearfish

"I made my reservations here after a horrendous experience with a neighboring establishment. I was welcomed here without an issue after the other hotel made me feel terrible for the necessity of my service animal. I called here and was immediately put at ease by Jamie at the front desk. I was promised an early check in at the previous place and they acted like I was crazy when I attempted to check in early as promised. Jamie found me an appropriate ready suite and I would seriously recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone I know!!!"

"You get what you pay for. No in room coffee, plain Jane amenities. Some nice and helpful staff, some not so much. Could’ve been better and it could’ve been worse. If you’re looking to save a few dollars, you won’t mind it.. If I were coming back anytime soon, I would probably look for something a little higher rated."

"I had two different rooms about a week apart. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and furnished well. The beds are extremely comfortable. There were cracks in both bathroom sinks, but they didn't leak. The light fixture in both rooms had been modernized, and was a nice upgrade from most hotels I've stayed at. I could actually see myself in the mirror. The service was exceptional during both stays. Check-in and check-out were fast and easy, and all staff I interacted with were very kind and helpful. The location isn't central in Spearfish, but it's super easy to get to anything you need to within minutes. There's a restaurant right across the street, which offers a discount to Travelodge guests (I believe with a voucher, I did not eat at the restaurant). This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms for a very competitive rate with friendly staff. Can't go wrong."
