"I recommend nobody to move into this apartment. I moved out 2 years ago and early due to leasing office not knowing what to do or even helping people. They will overcharge you for rent that was never agreed on the contract. Never gave out notices or warnings if you violated or owe rent. People doing drugs in the hallway and roaches are terrible even if you keep your apartment clean or sprayed out. Office will take days or months just to respond back to anything. The maintenance people hardly help or don’t understand nothing. Laundry room will overcharging you just to wash clothes. People are leaving threats notes to hit your car and stolen cars are being found in the parking lot so please keep vehicle secured and locked. !!! PLEASE FIND SOMETHING BETTER. !!!!"
"The sheer magnitude, regularity, and arrogance with which they gaslight you for their own incompetence and outright retaliation on people who have no other choice but to pray these slumlords get bought out is terrifying. I've been here for nearly seven years.. so I remember when we had a competent, cordial, and caring staff that treated residents like human beings. Moreso they went above and beyond. With the new managements regular tactics, it isn't at all hyperbolic to say that you genuinely and legitimately fear for your safety on a regular basis. That is just simply due to their sheer carelessness and victim blaming for any and all situations up to and including violent people actively using drugs in unlocked laundry rooms.... Sleeping in unlocked hallways inches outside of the doors where inside our children sleep?!....... Again I've done my independent research. Their parent company owns dozens of properties here in Denver, Aurora, and all over Colorado. Typically in the poorer areas... Identical are their abusive and transparently predatatory practices in their Maryland properties primarily in areas again where people are struggling the most. Rent paid on time every single month without fail? You will still receive sometimes monthly eviction warnings, again if you have the audacity to express your frustrations reasonably and with decorum.. The office workers will gaslight you, insist you are over reacting and that this is all perfectly normal. Once without ever raising my voice... Did not say anything like "I'm not leaving until x is resolved" .. I believe I might have commented on how truly absurd the situation was. The woman in the office said she was calling the police.... And that she "didn't feel safe". I've never been so taken aback in a professional interaction like that, I felt inappropriately villified, borderline defamed. To so flippantly attribute that level of malice, let alone the implication on my character I find appalling.. to imply to everyone in earshot essentially that I'd be capable of harming someone over a simple disagreement. It was humiliating. I've all but given up on actually expecting anything resembling the right thing to ever happen here. Just today however I had an experience that immediately made me so incredibly frustrated, and was so indicative of everything wrong with this place and virtually everyone from the management down the line excluding some seemingly uncorrupted maintenance workers who have no dog in the fight so to speak and do their jobs well, and have always been very polite, and have made sure to make me feel comfortable while they are inside my home. One of the gentlemen however and I use the term very loosely is anything but. He has short receding hair, I say this so he isn't confused with decent people who don't escalate situations where the management is CLEARLY in the wrong. Such as them illegally changing the locks without due cause, much less any notice whatsoever, god for bid a new key so we can pay out bills etc. I have worked in customer service for just under a decade. I understand he isn't an office worker. And everyone is entitled to a bad day. Heck ten of em.But escalating confrontation without any provocation whatsoever ? It was unreal. I wish that was all I was writing about. Recently both sinks in my kitchen and a dishwasher I've never used in my six years, and the garbage disposal I a used seemed to be causing the issue that despite my valient efforts pulling full time shifts pulling out and dumping all the water. It got to the carpet in the area closest to the kitchen, I had to move tons of dishes and things, get certain things onto higher surfaces etc. I call immediately, stress it is an emergency, let them know in person at office despite extreme reluctance with how they treat you there. n a week. I got all the water counters spotless etc but 1/2"
"As unbiased as a review on this place as you'll get: Do. Not. Move. Here. The leasing office while charming, will do the bare minimum to help you and tell you what you want to hear in order to move in and give them money or get you out of the office. There are too few employees to deal with the amount of people who are in there at any given time so be prepared to wait. When you do speak with someone, its gonna seem great. Once you move in the charm is gone. Theres been i think 2 diffrent companies who have now ran this place and their online portals are garbage. These buildings are old (built in the 70s iirc) and completely falling apart. They just put fresh coats of paint on everything but dont let that fool you. when i say held together by hopes, dreams and ducktape.....im giving it too much credit. Theres roaches in the vents, water damage, mold, poor electrical wiring, whatever we have on hand thrown together cabinets and drawers, plumbing that goes in and out and asbestos. ZERO SOUND OR TEMP INSULATION. Absolutely none whatsoever. You can hear everything in all directions and outside. I can hear every single step and half the things the people above me say, trash trucks are here at 7am, people partying from 7pm till 6am every friday, saturday and sunday, blasting music, screaming, people smoking in their units which gets into mine and it gets really cold especially if youre on the bottom floor. Mantinence guys are all cool and mean well but the ticket system they have to work under sucks and you never know if what you put in for a work order is actually going to get done or if it does get done, will it get done properly. i havent had a working dishwasher since i moved in 6 months ago after a replacement and several looks at it. Theyre usually overworked so i give them some slack. Its not safe here. id avoid walking around at night, within days of moving in there was a shooting 100 ft from my unit which wasnt the last, an unrelated body has been found on the trail right next to our building, a building has burnt down resulting in a death and people losing their homes thats still boarded up, the cops are here all the time, homeless people and other tennants hang out a lot in the hallways and parking lots, people shoot up in the laundry rooms, hoarders, squatters and so on. the entrances to the buildings are not locked and the locks they have in the units arent holding back anyone from getting in. getting mail delivered here is a pain. high chance of something getting stolen or misplaced. there are luxor package lockers in the leasing office. parking isnt assigned, is $8/mo per car and if you want someone over its like $4-5 for a guest pass. theres at least in my area very few extra spots if any. the lots do get plowed. on our now 2nd security group working here. hit or miss if they do end up following through with anything like a sound complaint etc. at the end of the day its one of the cheapest places around here but youre so much better off looking literally anywhere else. for both your physical and mental health. the extra $1-200/mo to live somewhere else is worth it. You genuinely couldnt pay me any amount of money to renew my lease here."
"Please do not move here. There are roaches, homeless people, car break ins, people doing drugs in the hallways and laundry rooms and swat teams there all of the time. My boyfriend (who is now dead due to complications of being shot.) was shot in the back in the llaundry room across from my apartment door, someone gained access through a door that I had asked them to fix a few days prior. I now owe almost 1900 for moving out due to my children's and I safety. (Not to mention, they were already letting me out of my lease due to the fact that the apartment was infested with roaches and had been in my new borns crib). When I came back to clear my apartment someone had broken the lock to out storage and took very valuable things. When I went to explain why I was moving out the lady in the office showed very little compassion and said she had received a noise complaint from my apartment before. All I can say to future residents is DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!"
"(never move here!) This is an emergency. You do not return calls.. Or answer the phone at all for current residents. I have never had Heat or AC and have had to put in 20+ tickets left 10+ voice mails. Have had your employees say I need a whole new heating unit. You've changed how request are entered 3 time in the 2 years I've been here. Call me back."
