"Review for Enchanted Springs, a Mission Rock Residential property. Guess what folks?! Another ONE STAR REVIEW! To be clear, I love this apartment. The management (from local to corporate) are absolute trash, but I love this apartment. I hope your unit is just as nice, that being said... Terrible move in experience. Incompetent management/maintenance. -Proper legal documents not provided to be signed, despite me being proactive about it. Legal documents eventually provided several days after move in. -Move in $$$ due was incorrect on their "Welcome Aboard" letter. I woke up one morning after moving in to find out I had to pay yet even more money. Prorated rent amount was wrong. -Also, they wont tell you this until later, but be advised: if you move in on the 20th or later, not only will you pay the current prorated months rent, but also next months rent up front at move in. The lease contract DOES NOT state this. -Management's inability to work with me regarding my movers being scheduled early (Costing me $200) -2 days after I moved in, maintenance randomly showed up with a 3rd party carpet cleaning crew in the morning. Their van blocked my garage (preventing me from going in/out), ran their cleaning hoses up to my 3rd floor apartment and prevented access into my home. Nothing was communicated or coordinated. When confronted they made excuses and changed their stories multiple times. -A $100 credit was offered to me, not for this month OR next month, but the month AFTER. I declined. -I have one maintenance work order open (also noted on my move in inspection sheet) for several days now with no action. -Toni Moyes, a VP from Mission Rock Corp in Denver contacted me to follow up about the negative experience. She said she had her "pen and paper" ready and wanted to use this as a "learning experience". I advised her it is not my (us as tenants/customers) responsibility to use my time and money to train her and her employees. She offered no other concessions. TRASH. Also you might want to google this property, there have been unresolved homicides. Just saying..."

"****UPDATE 1/30/2024 12:15PM**** This is exactly what I mean by the neglect...I shouldn't have had to write a review for you to NOW offer a summary. IT IS TOO LATE now to just casually send one over furthermore, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO EMAIL YOU YET AGAIN. It was against Maryland Landlord/Tenant Law to not provide a summary along with the refund check which by the way HAS EXPIRED from me waiting 3 MONTHS for a response. Now I can't even cash that!!! You can contact Shaun Bailey at Village Of Churchill's Choice to finally do the right thing. He knows exactly who Ms. Vivian Boykins is ***END OF UPDATE***I am writing because I am trying to resolve an issue. My original security deposit paid was $1680.00. I moved in on 4/20/20 and I moved out on 9/30/23. On October 21, 2023 I received a check in the amount of only $160.21 in the mail WITH NO EXPLANATION of any repair charges. The subject line just says MOVE OUT REFUND. I have tried to call the property manager several times without any success. No call back at all, no response to emails. May have to consider contacting the Maryland AG's Office smh."

"Mission Rock took over our old property management company, and it has been downhill ever since. Week after week, month after month nothing but trouble and stress trying to fight them. They have stopped collecting garbage and maintaining the property, it takes weeks for a maintenance person to show up because they are so understaffed, they closed down local offices, and we never have a dedicated property manager to our building because they either quit or get fired. They don't vet the tenants so new neighbors are turning our place into a ghetto. Constant screw ups with their web portal and rent payment, feels like I'm being scammed. I do NOT recommend renting any of their places. Stay away!"

"I used to live here in 2018, and Joy was the Manager, she is now as well. She is great, has always been attentive to my needs. I have seen people complain about bugs, but in my opinion if you are clean you don't have that issue and if you do, let Joy know because they have pest control. They can't fix what they don't know. I have always loved the indoor hot tub, it was closed do to issues beyond their control, but it will be up and running soon and I am excited. It's nice to have an indoor hot tub in the winter. They try to stay on people to clean up after their pets, there again, that's the owners fault not the property's. They are very quick to get issues fixed, they are continously upgrading. I love this place and always will as long as Joy keeps it going how it is. Take it with a grain of salt on bad reviews, because you have to remember, not always the cream of the crop live in apartments. It's about the pride you take in your place, that helps the community strive to be great. I think it's in a convenient and relaxing location in my opinion. You will hear jets, but you get use to it."
