"The American Inn is a spacious place especially if your interested in longer stays or even find yourself in-between living situations and are seeking a budget option that doesn't really interfere with the guests and their activities... AMERICAN INN IS THE PLACE! The rooms have walk out balconies and a surprisingly good view of the mountain range, as well as a great staff and a parking lot that is very well patrolled both day and night. Located next to a large variety of essentials including a Target, several restaurants that are quite convenient regardless of weather you own transportation, seeking delivery and even handful of everyday favorites located within a short 5-8 minute walk (tops). As if it needed to be better their check out time is 1 pm.Their rooms themselves are not only spacious like previously mentioned but include a mini fridge and microwave further adding to your ability to save some money. The rooms are not super luxurious but do have a modern TV, seating other than the bed, a table and bathrooms with tubs that you can actually move around in. So if you need a place in the area I wouldn't go anywhere else personally and I'll bet if your seeking similar accommodations this will become a favorite of yours as well. "Rooms are dumps, staff is old bigots. Mold in the sinks, stains on the sheets. Toilet broken, doors broken. Nasty establishment. Just pay the extra 20-60 for a clean decent room. This place needs to be boycotted."

"This was by far the worst stay I have ever had. I booked 3 nights and left after the first night. I was told by Sandy that I would be receiving a refund, but haven’t and haven’t heard anything since. I left a complaint immediately about insects in the room as well as an argumentative front desk clerk. He thought it would be better to ridicule me and argue with me when confronted about a faulty room key. This is rediculous service, I was trying to spend a couple special days with my son, and unfortunately have been met with this instead."

"This hotel is a three star hotel. It offers comfortable accommodations with modern amenities. Overall, it provides a pleasant stay for travelers on a budget. I’ve had the displeasure of staying at this hotel two times. On the first stay security came to my room claiming someone had been threatened by someone from my room. However, I’ve also come to the hotel to visit. On one occuation I was stoped by security, asked if I was stsying or visiting, once I responded that I was visiting I was asked which room I was visiting. I stated room 310 and was told, he has no visitors after 10:00 P.M. and not allowed to pass. The event made me question if I was a white hotel visitor with the ssme senario would I have been patronize in the same manor. The staff seems disrespectful or at least come off as such. As a paying customer, I will take my future business else where."

"I have been staying here while trying to save money for a home but I will not be staying here anymore after this week. It is damn near a blizzard outside and I forgot my jacket and instead of the security guard having a heart he literally had me walk all the way around the building freezing while he was standing at a door. It's one thing to do your job its another to have 0 empathy because you're power hungry especially when drug addicts fill your stairwells and dealers literally are selling out of your rooms and harassing hardworking people who don't do drugs."
