"Manager called when boulder delivery was on route to let me know the price I was quoted last week (when the delivery date was established) was incorrect and it would be $250 more. I felt like I didn't have a choice at that point as truck was in route, and accepted being overcharged when I should've just cancelled the order altogether. Very disappointing to be overchaged/misinformed like that."
"The quality of proct and service is good. However, my rating is for the pricing and fees. $170 for a delivery charge is outrageous. Especially when they travel 12 miles or less. On top of that, a $43.50 fuel surcharge was added. Other than fuel and insurance, their delivery costs have not gone up 200% from 3yrs ago. Same trucks, same wages."
"I am no professional, so although I’ve lived in Colorado Springs for more than 20 years I was always intimidated by Pioneer Landscaping. I’ve bought rock from them online and had it delivered but never felt confident enough to buy it at one of their centers. That changed this week. I didn’t need a ton of rock (the minimum delivery) but just some for a small garden as a border. I “bravely” walked in and asked how I would go about it. Kennedy explained it was easy as pie! Just tell them my car type, drive onto the scale, pick out my rocks, noting the type (I took a pic) and drove back onto the scale. Then I went in and paid. It was super easy and Kennedy even listened to me go on about my project, haha. I highly recommend this local business."
"I don't think that I've been more disappointed in & company in my entire time in business. Not only are they made it more and more difficult as contractors, but I have been met with more and more rude people working for the company, and accounting department has some extremely aggressive and people working. They just recently now change their hours to 3 pm, which is absolutely ridiculous considering that contractors work long hours, and count on these companies to supply them with the materials they need for the project. Krista and Jeff are amazing, but whoever has taken the lead in this company, is one of the worst business owners I have personally ever seen. I have taken all of my business elsewhere, and I have instructed my customers to find better options as well. I will pay off the balance of my account, and I will never again do business with Pioneer landscaping."
