"Came here with my daughter, and her mom because my daughter wanted some arts/crafts stuff for her birthday. I'm walking around the store, playing chess on my phone, while they shop. I have a cold, so I try to get a tissue from the restroom, but it's locked. I figured someone was in there, but no, they just keep the bathrooms locked for some reason. Eventually a rude employee comes up to me and asks if she can help me with something. I say yea, can you let me in the restroom. She says again? I'm like, what do you mean again. She says, weren't you just let into the restroom? I say no. Then she accuses me of stealing.. We go to checkout, where were greeted by another rude employee. We ask if there's a number to file a complaint. She says no, with an attitude. Then we left. Both employees should be fired immediately.. Avoid this location at all costs!"

"Skip Powers location and go to one of the others stores in town. You'll be better off. I got a highly unprofessional employee - supervisor even! - that actually YELLED at me. Such incident happened at this store in front of everyone there, including customers! If you think that's bad, she added to go elsewhere! I actually began to cry. I've NEVER had any experience like that ANYWHERE in any store with any RETAILER in 46 states and several countries overseas, and that includes holiday stampedes and midnight sales. As a disabled person who has to go into a store due to no one coming is inconvenient, but not the end of the World, but to then get yelled at across the store is horrible, humiliating and inexcusable. I was trying to do a curbside pickup, like I have so many, many times. I only went after having received notifications and confirmation that orders were ready. I declared arrival, etc. as usual and waited my turn. Others pulled up to Curbside Pickup after me, and their orders were brought out to them. Even after having called into the store a few times, no one came to me. I tried getting the order runner's attention, but she angrily said they "Had hundreds of orders over the weekend!" Out on the sidewalk, in my direction. Like, "You're not the only one." I waited, but eventually, it became clear I'd have to go inside because other people got their curb side pick-ups, and I just kept sitting there. I went to the pickup bins, thinking I'd probably find my order overlooked somewhere tucked in on a bottom shelf when the same woman snapped, "It isn't there!" This was the same woman that had run orders out and bypassed me. So I was confused and didn't know what to do. I tried to talk to her, but she was extremely short with me. I said, "I'm asking nicely." She turned around and glared at me, and then loudly, "No, you're not!" And then I could go elsewhere, and she disappeared into office by entrance and slammed the door. I waited, but she never came out. I called corporate offices and was actually on the phone with them when part of this incident happened. I asked the rep, "Did you hear that?" When I got yelled at. Another customer asked me, "Are you okay?" How MICHAEL'S ended up "handling" this gets an 'F'. I was informed their manager would contact me. They had (very sweet) ASSOCIATE call me. Call with Store Manager never happened. It's obvious that Powers Location management doesn't comply with directions from Corporate or seem to care for their patrons. I got letter from Corporate with a $20 gift card... You decide... I've lost so much respect for the company. Disappointing. I stopped here to give it one more chance while quiet. I found an employee to pull some storage totes for me, from a pallet with a very tall stack of them, and other clearance items and a large 70% off clearance sign. There were no exclusions that applied to any of the items on the pallet. Since an employee removed the totes and took them to register, I assumed swift checkout. When associate rang up items, they didn't ring up at advertised prices. I pointed out that associate had literally taken items off of the pallet. Instead of adjusting it, the cashier said, "Well, this is the price," just standing there. When I explained, she just said, "Yes, uh... but your total is..." Face palm. I was already uncomfortable from my last encounter at this location, and this indifferent associate didn't make it better. She called a supervisor, and I asked who it was, worried I'd face the person that had yelled at me. A supervisor came and "fixed" transaction, but not once looked up at me or in my direction. I've had employees come out in pouring rain to bring me curbside orders and still smile! I've had a sweet employee fill an order despite having had surgery the previous day! Supervisor screaming at me has tainted any future experiences. I no longer feel assured I will meet the kind associates every time. Since past visits, I wont go inside. Other Michael's locations are better; skip the one on Powers."

"I called to have a problem fixed because I received a notification that my order had been picked up and my card charged. Well I had forgotten to pick it up and just needed to have it refunded, which should have been a simple and straightforward conversation. The manager I spoke to (from the second she picked up the phone) was extremely rude and acted like she didn’t want to help me. I explained the situation and she cut me off 2 times. I asked for the manager because it was a very poor experience, she said she was the manager. I’m sorry, but I think customer service needs to be held to a higher standard, especially when you are the manager. It was such a simple and easy fix and instead of being polite and telling me we can get that fixed, she was incredibly rude. Her tone said it all."

"Cashiers are super friendly and helpful! They will tell you about deals and discounts and whatever you need. Other employees are helpful too, everyone is. Great deals, always check the website. Loved the BOGO 50%off deal on yarn last week. Not to mention yarn selection is pretty substantial"

"Very nice store with a great staff. Asked to use a coupon I didn’t have on me and she still honored it. All of their Halloween stuff is on sale before the holiday was over. So helpful!"
