Staybridge Suites - Colorado Springs NE Powers, an IHG Hotel 5420 New Car Drive, Colorado Springs, CO 80923

"The only 2 things this property has going for it is location and it being a newer build. The management and owners only look out for themselves, they treat their employees horrible. The ownership micro manages everything and will not allow the front desk to make any decisions. 10% of their rooms have had broken appliances, door locks, ( let’s not discuss how housekeeping has to try and hide stains ) for months, but management refuses to fix / replace as cutting corners to get their bonuses is more important than maintaining the property. The elevators are down approximately once a month, yet they refuse to pay for an after hours tech, leaving guest to use the stairs. The leadership treats everyone poorly, good luck getting a discount, an issue resolved, or ever getting management to give you a call back. Also people’s safety is a very low to non existent from property owners / leadership. They refuse to buy salt for us to clear the snow / ice around the building. Also there is a sinkhole in the back of the parking lot that they are aware of but won’t block off, nor fix. The entire leadership looks at their employees as slaves, not people, and they can’t figure out why there is such high turnover. You are better off staying at almost any other hotel in the springs."

"Staybridge Suites NE Powers was the perfect home away from home while working in Colorado Springs. The staff were all friendly and accommodating during my month long stay. The rooms have lovely kitchenettes which allows me to stick to my regular diet while working away from home in an extended capacity. There was also a pull out couch which allowed me to host a Guest for two nights. Location wise, there is convenient access to grocery stores and restaurants. Breakfast was served every morning with a large variety of options. The building also hosted Happy Hour Monday-Wednesday with Beer/Wine and light bites. Thank you for a lovely stay!"

"Average place to stay in Colorado Springs. If you just need a place to get some sleep, it’s fine. Several issues we had during the stay: - poor job at shoveling after a snow and not treating with salt or sand. - hot tub wasn’t functioning. - pool towels weren’t stocked. - we were in room 008 which is right next to a maintenance room and every 10 minutes you’d hear a mechanical plumbing sound against the wall. This made it impossible to stay asleep at night. - no trash cans on side entrances to building to dispose of dog waste. - was not able to accommodate any type of late check out despite gold status. - shower door was extremely loud when sliding open and close. - the light switches for the bathroom made zero sense. It made it impossible to not wake someone up in the middle of the night if you turned on the light."

"All out great hotel. The pool was nice and warm with salt water instead of bleach.. Free breakfast and it was actually good with many options. Free laundry was nice. We loved staying here for a week."

"The room is nice and clean. Breakfast is good. It is pretty quiet. The only problem I had was the washers. They are so smelly. All of them has strong mold odor. They seriously need to clean the washers. My clothes all smell bad after wash."
