"If you want a refund, it takes 2 weeks to get your money back. They do not explain this when you get a room. Also, they ask you not to smoke in the rooms. Yet people smoke right outside their room and the smoke floods into your room through the doors with large openings in them even when closed."

"Pros: This motel is in a very walkable area. We had a blast walking around this area of town. Overall in a safe area, was not concerned for my well-being. It was $85 after tax, for a hotel room that price can’t be beat. Cons: It is in need of a major overhaul. It felt a little dirty, the carpets were sticky in some places (so we ended up keeping our shoes on). It was a little loud, it was incredibly easy to hear the people we shared a wall with and those above us. But you get what you pay for!"

"I stayed at this motel for about two weeks. The room was clean, and the property manager was so friendly. He said good morning to me and my dog every morning. Some neighbors keep to themselves, and some were quite chatty. Everyone was delightful though, and I ended up making a dear friend that was staying while selling his house to move to the Virgin Islands. My only regret was having to leave. What a lovely place. I will recommend this place to everyone I know."

"We stayed here last night, and were incredibly impressed. The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. The bathroom fixtures, tile, and floor all look to be brand new. The bed was comfortable, but they could definitely add a couple more pillows to the bed. That would be my only slightly negative comment. We will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend the Castle Rock Motel!"
