"There was hair in the bathtub. Not just a little. A lot it looked like they forgot the bathroom. I was wondering about the bed. I slept on top of the covers. I don't know if it would help. But I felt better. The breakfast wasn't any better. But they had a pancake maker. Never seen one before. Worked good too."
"I’ve been traveling and staying in various hotels for work and family business. I’ve never been so humiliated by a front desk clerk in any hotel. I chose this hotel because the website describes a pool/tub is available. It's very disappointing that the pool/tub was closed during regular hours. The hotel clerk said it’s too cold and it might open after the sun shows up. It’s an indoor pool and shouldn’t be affected by the weather outside. So, 20 minutes later, I stopped by the desk and asked her again about the possibility of opening the pool. She yelled, “I already told you no. We can’t open the pool.” She asked me to look at the poster on the desk about the pool policy. I asked her where the poster states the availability of the pool depends on the weather. She was very mad and continued shouting “Please go back to your room or go eat breakfast. Don’t you see I’m very busy. Stay away from this desk…...” Then she went inside a room and shut the door. I was feeling speechless and humiliated. What the hotel owner's response said below is not true. When I checked in late in the night, the clerk told me to ask again the next morning. So, I asked the 2nd clerk early in the morning and got the same response to ask them later. Both of them were polite. The manner the 3rd and final clerk (could be the manager) reprimanded me and called my questions "harassing" is not acceptable. I did repeat the same questions a couple of times (not 20 times as accused below). English isn't my native language. I have to make sure what I heard is correct."
"Hotel smells like cigarette smoke. Even sitting in our non smoking room we could smell the smoke coming in under our door I guess. Elevator makes loud banging noises when in use (couldn't hear it from the room) beds are very uncomfortable the pull out couch was more comfortable... staff did not have extra pillows (pillows are very flat and smalp) they did provide us with extra blankets when we asked for something to help with the mattress. Breakfast was very basic. If you want a larger variety you have to go to a nicer hotel like hilton. Staff wasn't Terrible but not very friendly. Couldn't always reach the front desk from our room as they were not always at the desk. The front doors are not automatic which makes it difficult for special needs or just using the cart to bring in your luggage. Family that was also staying there had issues with their bathtub not draining. Rooms felt clean but towels were old and dingy. After reading reviews after our stay I wish I would have looked at them better. Staffs response to the reviews is horrible. I couldn't imagine responding that way and still having business."
"Hotel has a working elevator. My room was on the 3rd floor right next to it & I never heard the lift. The room was clean. I rated using these tests **. **Pulling back the bedspread, the sheets were fresh & contained no wrinkles or stains. **Walked on carpeted floor with socks easily without usual sticky residue. Followed up with barefoot; floor felt clean & comfortable. Room temperature was set at 68 degrees when I entered on a cold winter evening. Nice walking into a room that wasn't overly cold. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked. Made to order pancakes, hot/cold cereal, danish/muffins, fruit, yogurt, milk & choice of juices. The building is at the end of a road thereby giving the feeling of being dark however, I found the entrance and common areas were well lit. My interactions were with Chaz, Haley & Lonni. I personally thank them for a wonderful overnight stay."
"This place is terrible. The hallways smell like dog urine. It’s so intense it makes me nauseous to walk the halls. The staff are rude and are unable to grant the simplest request. They are too busy vaping cannabis in the back room to do anything. The lobby reeked of it when I checked in. When you do need something, they are never at the desk. I asked for housekeeping to skip my room because I was working a night shift and needed to sleep during the day. They couldn’t promise me that they wouldn't knock and come in anyway. There weren’t any “do not disturb” door hangers available so I put a note on the door to not disturb. Miraculously, when I left my room, I noticed a “do not disturb” door hanger. There are several dilapidated cars in the parking lot. There’s always shady people walking around the place and I don’t feel safe leaving my 16 year old daughter in the room alone. There was one guy who was constantly in his running car sitting outside in the parking lot. Every time I left or came back, he was there sitting in the car with it running. It just seemed really off. The back exit door slams so hard it shakes the rooms and it happens all night. There were ants all over in our room and if you walk around the place, you’ll notice little signs about pesticides being sprayed. Not the best to spray pesticides all over the only bit of grass you have for pets to walk. The only decent thing about this hotel is the location. You’d be better off spending a little more and staying somewhere else."
