"I had to take my 15 year old cat to VCA Emergency Hospital because she wouldn’t eat and her breathing was very labored. Dr. Winborne explained to me that Sassy was very ill. It was very hard to wrap my mind around since she had been diagnosed with asthma that could be managed by a different emergency vet the night before. Dr. Winborne explained to me how Sassy wouldn’t be coming home with me and gave me my options. After coming to the devastating conclusion I had to put her down, Dr. Winborne was so patient with me and my endless questions. She was extremely patient because I had to break the news to my college daughter who was 500 miles away. Dr. Winborne even took the time to speak to my daughter and explain what was happening with Sassy. We will be forever grateful to her and the team for the compassion they showed us."

My little one has collapsed trachea and he was having an attack that would not stop. He was treated by Dr. Brett Cromwell on emergency and I cannot lie, it was the best experience I've had since leaving the veterinary field. I would highly recommend anybody to go to this hospital. It is nice to actually be treated with respect toward me and my little one. Gabriel was my technician. Any question that I asked, he knew everything. I cannot thank him enough. I feel very blessed, even though it was an emergency, to find a hospital that takes the time to keep the owner up to date with all information. The receptionist was knowledgeable, which is a huge plus. The whole experience, besides what was going on with my pet, I could not ask for more. So again thank you Dr. Cromwell and Gabriel."

"If I could rate this place higher than 5 stars, I would. We’ve been to several ERs, speciality centers and regular vets and NONE have compared to this one in Highlands Ranch! They were attentive, quick, genuine, and skilled with diagnosing and removing our dog, Teeko’s, spleen/tumor. The place was super clean, they let us see our boy in ICU and were extremely patient with all our questions. I can’t say enough good things about the experience and every employee, especially Dr. Feinzig and Dr. Vonau. The world needs more people like you. Mike, Teeko and I thank you."
