"I was referred to this vet office from a friend when I first moved to Castle Rock with my 3 small dogs in early 2022. One of which had routine health issues- so needless to say there were many times I had to lean on their advice. I stayed way too long at this vet due to reading all of the positive reviews online and wondering why I was having such a horrible experience when everyone else said they were great. It took my dog passing unexpectedly without having any help or support from this vet to finally make the decision to be done with them. It's hard to even summarize all of the terrible experiences I had at this vet office just simply trying to get some type of direction or help with my dogs. The main issue that happened routinely is that they would always refer you to the emergency clinic. I completely understand if it is after hours or even on a weekend as those places are where you go when you have an emergency. But I would call early in the mornings on a weekday and still be told this, over and over again. They would say "call right at 7am and we have a couple appts reserved for emergencies to get you in same day." I would wait by the phone for 7am to hit and call and be told that they were all booked up and they couldn't help me. And again- told to go to the emergency vet. There were also days where I was in the waiting room at this vet getting vaccines for one of my dogs and I would overhear them answering phone calls and telling multiple other clients to go to the emergency vet as they couldn't help them. I just don't understand this. I'd rather have a vet tell me that they don't have the space to offer care for my dogs then give me such a terrible experience and refer me to a place that has a starting cost of $250 per visit. For two years I listened and would take my dogs to the emergency vet, even on weekdays. I spent so much money trying to find out what I needed to do when in reality I just needed honest advice from a vet that cared. The week my dog suddenly passed, I called every vet in Castle Rock begging for answers and help in some way. Plum Creek said they didn't have room to see her and told me again that the emergency ER was my only option. I was incredibly fortunate to call Brekke Vet in Castle Rock. They were incredibly caring and squeezed me into their calendar. From there they offered direct, honest, advice. I have been with this vet now for over a year with all of my dogs and they have been nothing short of amazing. If I have a question or something urgent come up on a weekday they will always try to fit me in. And if they tell me I need to go to the emergency vet- I trust it is because it is the right choice for my dog and not just a way to brush me or my concerns off. I truly hope that people are having a much better experience at Plum Creek then I did. I wouldn't wish that upon anyone. I have had dogs for 10+ years and never had an issue with a vet like I did here. I just wanted to be transparent about my experience so those can be better informed with selecting a vet in Castle Rock."
"The ladies at the front are very polite and informational. Always able to answer any questions we may have! Mercedes is our favorite and her assistant is wonderful as well!! They’re both very professional, kind and our animals love seeing them. We always get into our private room very quickly. Only thing I wish they had was more parking; it’s a little odd but nothing to keep us away!"
"Plum Creek Veterinary services has been wonderful to my dog Jasper. Thank you! I also love that there is a walking path right behind their office. Makes going to the vet a little less stressful on my pup."
"We trust Plum Creek Veterinary to take care of our precious four-legged family members as we do no other vet clinic in the Denver Metro area. They take time, they don't push their products, they show compassion and expertise, and we trust them implicitly to do right by our animals. Plus all their front office staff are pleasant, patient and helpful. We highly recommend Plum Creek, their vets, and their staff!"
