"This is our go-to place in Colorado Springs. For what you get for the money it is a great value. The general manager, and all of the hospitality employees are great. Breakfast is good. Plenty of coffee and tea. The fitness center is enough to get a good pump."
"EDIT: Trust broken. I had written a previous review that I loved this hotel. And I did. It was my favorite hotel in Colorado Springs, but my experience today makes it clear that I can't stay here again. Room service knocked politely at 9:30 to ask if they could clean the room. Which is, in my mind, wildly inappropriate. It was a one night stay. Wait until I'm gone. But I'm going to accept that as it was. I got in late from a flight delay. I was trying to maximize my sleep and it was interrupted by the knocking. This is just circumstance. However, not 15 minutes later, there is more quiet knocking at the door and this person is not identifying themselves as room service. They knock a second time and I put enough clothes on and hobble to the door (I walk with a cane) to answer, and find my door handle turning. I immediately grab the door handle and confront the man who was opening the door to my room. He claims to be with housekeeping but he's wearing a sweatshirt that says "Smithfield" or something similar and nothing like "Home2 Suites" or "Hilton" or any sort of uniform garb. I call the front desk to complain and they excuse this behavior by asking, "You are checking out today, aren't you?" It's not even 10 o'clock at this point. Check Out is at 11. My partner and I get our things together and go downstairs to ask to speak to the manager, who is definitely expecting this conversation. I believe hum to be the person I spoke to on the phone. He is apologetic and gives me 10,000 points in compensation. But he also excuses this behavior with stories about how other rooms can be ruined after a month and tells me that I should have put up a "do not disturb" sign. It was a one night stay. I can't stay here again. My trust has been breached. You can't open the door to my room."
"If you want your family and yourself to be treated like trash ,have room service every 9 days , see other people trash in the hall , go to the desk and ask for something and nobody know nothing, your dog be treated like the worst , even being a sweet and trained dog, this is the place. The worst part was that we couldn’t leave because the insurance of our house (that was been repaired) have contract with them so we have to stay. The last day they hurry us and make us leave during snow and freezing weather with my wife, my kids and my dog (wich is like a son for us) with last notice because they have somekind of problem with Liberty, Ins. Didn’t care if we had to stay in the car because that was not her problem. She (the manager) become to swear and was rude with my wife and me in front of my kids because we where making our bags to leave and took us about 35 minutes. Maybe she didn’t like Latin people staying in the “hotel “. Worst experience ever !"
"We're disabled veterans that require service dogs trying to stay 5 nights. We gave them $1,000 in advance because they said that we could bring our service dogs here. They moved in people right next door with children that don't like dogs. Without ever saying anything to us they said that we "were on our last strike with the dogs or we'll have to be kicked out". Unacceptable. The staff lied straight to our face like we wouldn't catch them in the act. Hilton used to mean customer service. We will continue to dissuade others from visiting this location and file an ADA complaint. Edit: turns out that the manager who gave us the first and final warning about our service dogs lied to her coworker about the details of our stay and exit while simultaneously ghost charging us additional money for the stay. You're better off walking up the road and knocking on a random strangers door and offering the pay them money to take you in for the night then to stay at this 'Hilton'."
"Newer hotel that was spacious, clean, and quiet. I enjoyed a four-night stay and felt safe as a solo traveler. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. I had a noisy upstairs neighbor with loud footsteps and a quick call to the front desk seemed to do the trick. I would definitely stay there again."
