"Let’s face it, estate planning is not a subject or activity any of us want to do. The whole foundation of creating a trust / will / healthcare directive is having to address how our final states of life are handled and how to protect our money from probate after our death to mitigate taxes is not usually high on the “to-do” list. The process is incredibly involved, complicated and energy consuming, but absolutely critical for anyone that wants to ensure their wishes are followed through in the case of an expected / unexpected demise.
